A good place to stay: Brendan and Patricia were very, very welcoming and helpful; especially for me, arriving from Australia via Bangkok where I had the misfortune to pick up a tummy bug and had to watch my diet. Location is brilliant, close to everything in Cork. More

It was our first trip to Cork to see our daugther who is studying there. We booked Audley House for an initial two nights during our visit to Cork thinking we would look around and look for other accomodation when we got to Cork. We ended up deciding to stay the entire 10 nights of our Cork trip there. The... More

I stayed 3 days in Cork to attend a conference and have chosen Audley House for my stay due to its great location (the city centre is reachable in a 5-10 minutes walk, right next to the university campus). The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the rooms have the perfect size and accommodation for B&B, and the served breakfast... More

The Audley House is perfectly situated in Cork -- just close enough to walk to the city center in about 10 minutes or so, but far enough out to be relatively quite. We appreciated the proximity of the university campus and the city museum, both offering lovely green open spaces. Brendan was a lovely host, and very helpful with some... More

The location was perfect as it was within walking distance from the city centre. Our room was spotless and the food was... More

Of the 3 B & Bs we stayed in on our trip to Ireland, Scotland and England (all in the same price range) I'd have to rate Audley House in 3rd place. Not that it was bad. The food was excellent, the host friendly and helpful, the room clean. But the room was cramped, with very little closet/dresser space and... More

Walked in off the street while on a tour of Ireland with two female friends. We were offered a triple room, with three single beds, which was shown to us before we agreed to take it. The room was very small, not large enough for the three of us to open our suitcases on the floor without having to step... More

The quality of the accomodation, the location, just a short walk to the city centre, very close to great restaurants(ask Brendan) and the hospitality of Brendan and Patty made this trip very pleasant. l would highly recommend this B+B, which very certainly surpassed my expectations More
