The east village is a bar/restaurant, and they should leave it at that. It is not a hotel worthy of the title. I have just spent 3 nights on business in cork, and as a frequent traveller & user of hotels & b&b's, this ranks as one of the worst places to stay. My room wasn't cleaned on day 2,... More

We visited this hotel for dinner. There were five staff on duty and we may as well not have been there - service was very poor. That said the brown haired girl working at the bar and a blonde haired woman in her 40s were very helpful but we were left waiting with menus and trying to flag down staff... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Although it is rather small, it was lovely. The staff were more than happy to accommodate us and very friendly and I encountered no issues with them when I had to prolong my stay past the check out date. The bar downstairs was lively enough at night and the chicken wings in the... More

The Thai red curry was more like packet curry and not authentic! We would have said something there had anyone bothered to ask how the meal was but even tho we sent back... More

Had lunch on sunday and found the hole experience delightful, good food and reasonably priced. Frendly staff too. Nice atmosphere, relaxed and easy going just what we were looking for. As a great man once said, Ill BE BACK :-)

Fine. I like East village, even though from your wallet there's a bit of a spillage. The pint of water I had tasted marvellous, only real complaint is that it didn't give me a sense of a village in the Asia.
