I stayed for eight days in October 2014. Kay and Dan are so welcoming ,helpful and provide a home away from home. My room was lovely and cosy and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Everything was beautifully clean , with crisp white sheets and lovely décor. Every evening when I returned there was milk... More

Last month, my sister and I had reason to overnight in Cork, near University Hospital and quite by accident we found “Dunderg B&B” on the internet. And what a find that turned out to be! It is literally 10mins. walk to the hospital, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and quiet rooms, all en-suite and Kay, the proprietor is charming, helpful and... More

My experience at Dunderg B&B was one I will never forget. My husband was taken to Cork University Hospital off a cruise ship and how fortunate I was to have this great place to stay for 3 weeks. The owners, Kay & Dan were more family to me than they were owners of this beautiful place. Breakfast was an amazing... More

Despite me having to cancel and re-book a couple of times, Kay was still 100% nice, and not at all exasperated! Welcomed me beautifully, and my room was as before - immaculate. Nice touches, like a little stack of cotton buds and cotton wool face pads in the bathroom, & face flannels - which you don't often get these days!... More

When a major health incident brought me to Cork University Hospital from my cruise ship, my wife was referred to the Dunderg B and B. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cork, we can say after nearly three weeks that your first consideration should be the Dunderg Inn. Hosts Kay and Dan O'Donovan completely redefine your... Proprietors Kay and Dan provided friendly, outstanding service. Located within a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Cork University Hospital. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Dunderg B&B is a great home away from home.

My parents were traveling on a Trans-Atlantic Cruise that had a port visit at Cobh Ireland which is in Cork when my father got sick and had to be rushed to Cork University Hospital by ambulance. Obviously, the cruise continued on to other ports but my mom needed a place to stay. The cruise booking agent found her this B&B... More

I arrived at the B&B about 10pm for a quick overnight stay on my way to Kilkenny and Dublin....and was welcomed with a warm greeting by the owner. She was very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was a full irish breakfast, among other things, which was very good. Very pleasant experience...
