There are places to eat nearby takeaway or eat in within 5 min walking distance. I was travelling on my own & felt safe! Kay & her husband are lovley people! The rooms are spotless &... More

I arrived at the B&B about 10pm for a quick overnight stay on my way to Kilkenny and Dublin....and was welcomed with a warm greeting by the owner. She was very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was a full irish breakfast, among other things, which was very good. Very pleasant experience...

Stayed here overnight prior to an early appointment at CUH. The landlady, Kay, is lovely and friendly, and very helpful. Weather was very hot so she had opened our Windows to make the room nice and cool for us, and when we didn't want a jug of iced water as we were heading right out to get something to eat,... More

Highly recommend this bed breakfast. I arrived late evening, cold and tired after a long drive and was welcomed into a clean and cosy house. I was offered a delicious scone and cup of tea. The room was spotless with crisp white sheets and towels. Bathroom was a good size too. Breakfast was amazing and presented very tastefully. Good value... More

It is, as other reviewer say, a small unremarkable semi in suburbia. But you're not paying for luxury! And your hostess is just lovely, so so helpful, cheerful and runs a tight ship, in a good way. The room and shower room are spotless, and the bed linen crisp and clean and the BED!! Wow - seriously, such comfort. She... More

I stayed here for 1 night to attend a course at UCC university, which is nearby. The house was very ordinary, but the owner has gone to a great deal of trouble to make guests feel welcome, with good service, nice furnishings, a large en suite bathroom and an excellent breakfast. I would certainly come here again on a similar... More

I'm staying now and then in this B&B. It is located about 10 minutes walk from the Cork Institute of Technology and about the 10-15 minutes from the Cork Universit y Hospital. Although Bishopstown can be quite busy, it is located in a quiet area. Rooms are nice and clean. Very good service. One of the best breakfast I experienced... More

This b & b isn't a very big one. It's in a semi-detached house but is charming, spotless and breakfasts are lovely. The breakfast room is lovely too overlooking the really big garden. It's in a really calm spot so you hear no noise at all at night while still being near the city centre 10 minutes on the n°... More
