Kay really keeps the standards up, her B&B is as perfect as it was the last time and so is she! Went with my Mum this time and she was as impressed as I always am at how beautifully clean and fresh everything is. Kay offered us a home made scone so we gave in and said "yes" - really... More

My sister and I feel extremely privileged to have stayed at this lovely and most generous couple's B&B during our stay in Cork this May. We couldn't have been more looked after and happy. Kay and Dan have a real knack at making you feel welcome with love.  Their home was always spotlessly clean and fresh smelling at all times.... More

We could not have asked for a better hostess than Kay. My husband is gluten intolerant, and she really went out of her way to make sure he had whatever food he wanted for breakfast, as well as gluten free scones and brown bread for tea and chocolate fingers in our room at night. Her and her son helped us... More

Stayed at Kay's many, many times since 2011. The rooms are quiet, wifi is perfect, parking is easy and the breakfasts are great. Kay is always in a good mood and a pleasure to deal with. Never had a problem here!

I stayed for eight days in October 2014. Kay and Dan are so welcoming ,helpful and provide a home away from home. My room was lovely and cosy and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Everything was beautifully clean , with crisp white sheets and lovely décor. Every evening when I returned there was milk... More

Last month, my sister and I had reason to overnight in Cork, near University Hospital and quite by accident we found “Dunderg B&B” on the internet. And what a find that turned out to be! It is literally 10mins. walk to the hospital, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and quiet rooms, all en-suite and Kay, the proprietor is charming, helpful and... More

My experience at Dunderg B&B was one I will never forget. My husband was taken to Cork University Hospital off a cruise ship and how fortunate I was to have this great place to stay for 3 weeks. The owners, Kay & Dan were more family to me than they were owners of this beautiful place. Breakfast was an amazing... More

Despite me having to cancel and re-book a couple of times, Kay was still 100% nice, and not at all exasperated! Welcomed me beautifully, and my room was as before - immaculate. Nice touches, like a little stack of cotton buds and cotton wool face pads in the bathroom, & face flannels - which you don't often get these days!... More

When a major health incident brought me to Cork University Hospital from my cruise ship, my wife was referred to the Dunderg B and B. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cork, we can say after nearly three weeks that your first consideration should be the Dunderg Inn. Hosts Kay and Dan O'Donovan completely redefine your...
