We were travelling as a couple and had some difficulties finding a place to stay in Cork as we didn't have any room booked beforehand. Luckily we found our way to the Auburn house and were able to stay there for the first night as it was fully booked from the next day on. We instantly felt very welcome. Olive... More

Great place to stay & would recommend this B&B as a place to stay in Cork. On arrival we were greeted with a large pot of tea & biscuits. The owners went out of their way to be helpful & Olive even insisted that she pick up our train tickets for us, so that we didn't waste our time whilst... More

I stayed here for three nights in April and was traveling by myself. Kieran and Olive were wonderful and extremely helpful. They suggested things to do (places, pubs, restaurants), had travel books, maps, and bus timetables available for me to look at, and even mapped out a running route for me one morning. During breakfast, I also conversed with several... More

The Auburn House is a warm friendly place to stay in Cork. The couple-managers are generous with their suggestions and help in making a visit fun and memorable. Facilities are simple and basic but a visitor has everything that is needed. Near restaurants and places to visit. Olive will help in bookings and reservations, alerts you on promotions, and passes... More

I stayed at the Auburn House B&B this weekend and I absolutely recommend this nice and friendly Accommodation to anyone! It is very close to the Train Station Kent (5 -10 min. walk) and also to the Bus Station (5min. Walk) and the city center is just 5min. walk away! The owners are gorgeuos, offered me instantly a cup of... More

This is a great Bed & Breakfast with fantastic hosts Kieran and Olive. The rooms are newly decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is superb with great choice and there is secure parking. A big plus is that it is within walking distance of all the great restaurants and bars Cork city has to offer. It also has free wifi.... More

Hosts Olive and Kieren are a charming couple and you get a sense you are a visitor into their home, not a guest into their B&B business. This pervaded they way they related with us the night we stayed. We were jet lagged and had unwittingly picked up a seemingly dodgy rental car at Cork airport. It felt like things... More

Olive and Keiran were by far the most genuinely friendly hosts we had on our Irish trip. We were immediately offered tea on arrivable which is not out of the ordianary but it was a pleasant surprise when Keiran sat down with us to chat. Both hosts were full of recommendations, brochures, and suggestions to help us find our way... More
