Olive and Kieran were wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived Olive wanted to make sure we were going to enjoy our stay in Cork. The room was perfect and quiet. Kieran makes a wonderful Irish Breakfast. When we visit Cork again, we will stay here. Its so close to the city centre. You are a 5 minute walk from... more

Well, just add another great review onto the pile. As other reviewers have stated, what sets the Auburn House apart is the staff. Extremely friendly and very helpful. Parking was a block away which was mildly inconvenient, but hey, they have offstreet parking in downtown Cork so can't complain too much. The room we stayed in was probably the smallest... more

Olive and Kieran make this spot one of the nicer b&b's we visited. They were so friendly and helpful, they really made our stay a great one. The place has a lot of charm and is in Cork City Centre on the north side of the river - a great location. We would not hesitate to return again and again. more

I absolutely loved my experience at Auburn house. Olive & Kieran were the best hosts I could ever imagine. Olive was full of great advice every day, Kieran talked to us about Irish politics, and our room was always spotlessly clean. Then when we found an apartment, they insisted on driving us there with all our stuff! These are truly... more

Stayed one night only on a quick trip to Cork. But we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Olive and she is very friendly. Not your typical B&B , much more a home from home. Great for parking and the room was nice and cosy. We will deffinately be returning to Auburn... more

Had an excellent time in Cork, stayed for 2 nights. Olive was a great host. The BB is very close to the city centre and the rooms are really good. Fair choice for breakfast. All good. more

The B&B owner was SO kind and helpful. Olive went above and beyond to accomodate 2 girls on a getaway trip. She showed us a map and how to get to the local pubs, shopping etc. It was SO close to the shops and free parking! She gave us a great recommendation for the local- Mutton Lane? Live music. It... more

Our week’s stay at Auburn House in October, 2008, was wonderful. Good location. Great breakfasts. Very comfortable. And Olive and Kieran could not be better hosts. They made us feel very welcome and helped us with our sightseeing plans. We would definitely stay there again. more

You'll not go wrong in choosing the Auburn House for your accomodation in Cork city. The location is fabulous, the price is right, and hosts Kieran and Olive will ensure that you want for nothing. I usually stay in hotels, but the high price of hotel rooms in Cork forced me to investigate the B&B option. I was pleased that... more
