Olive & Kieran go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable!! The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good and plentiful. The Auburn House is close to the city center which we were able to walk to and explore. Be forewarned that the walk back is up a fairly steep hill, but manageable. We... More

We arrived on a first visit to Cork quite late and Olive quickly directed us to a good place for food and music. An excellent night's sleep (on the top floor) and a fine, relaxed Irish breakfast set us up for our bus journey the next morning. Warmly recommended for the lovely welcome and friendliness as well as the comfort.... More

We arrived there on a Saturday, with no booking, on the advice of a woman working in town. Olive was really friendly and helped us with everything. She gave us good advice for visiting, enjoying the cork folk festival and finding a good restaurant. The room was big and very comfortable, with a great bathroom. Great equipment and location !... We stayed two nights in Cork. They have an agreement for parking with a church less than 1/2 block away. The hosts were incredible...hence the mixed emotions. This B&B came on the heals of a true 5 star B&B that had it all. While the hosts were eager to help us up the to the 3rd floor with our luggage,... More

We stayed at Auburn House for three nights. It was our first stop in Ireland. Olive and Kieran were very warm and welcoming and gave us plenty of good advice for our trip. The rooms were small but nice. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is near the city center but be warned: you have to go down a huge... More

We recently (September 2014) spent a short break in Cork City and stayed at the Auburn House B&B. We travelled by air then bus to Cork bus station and the B&B is really just a 5 minute stroll. A lovely tidy and clean B&B run by Olive and Kieran. Olive is so friendly, goes out of her way to be... More

Auburn House is in a great location - just 10 mins walk into the heart of Cork. The room was comfortable, and we had a terrific view from the top floor out back to the city and nearby church. Just gorgeous. Great full Irish breakfast on offer too, as well as the normal buffet of cereals, fruit etc. Couldn't fault... More

We had an excellent stay in the Auburn Guesthouse in Cork. We arrived at Kent station, from there it is just a 10 minute walk to get to the house - it is easy to find. The city centre ist not far at all (maybe 5 minutes walk), many nice pubs are around there as well. When we arrived, Kieran... More

I would say stop looking for a place to stay and book here. Olive and Kieran could not be more welcoming. They truly understand hospitality. They can not do enough for you. They give every guest special treatment. I was traveling alone from the US and it was the perfect place for me to stay. The room was a great... More
