Got a great rate on line for the Montenotte. Plus, lots of parking - a rarity in Cork. Our room was very spacious and we had a comfy king sized bed. Definitely request the new wing of the hotel. Ended up having a late meal in the Vista Bar which was very nice. Delishous Irish beef burger and fresh calamari.... more

This was our 2nd visit to the Monenotte & we cant wait to go back again! The staff are amazing... the make you feel so welcome. I stayed in the Montenotte during my most recent trip to Cork. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and pleasant.The room I stayed was well maintained, immaculately clean and gave a great view of the city. The food served was nothing short of excellent and my stay was flawless overall. more

I stayed here in Aug 09 for 2 nights for a wedding function, So many things went wrong with the water in the room, toilet seat was broke and the staff just didnt bother there back side in fixing the problems. The plates for breakfast were put out on the sunday morn and the first 3 plates still had food... more
