We found this B&B very comfortable , Room 2, ultra clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Getting to the Dinning Room for breakfast was a bit of a trek up and down stairs and parking was tight in the front of the house - not for anyone wit a big car. Overall a very good experience and a... More

Reluctant to write a bad review as overall everything was fine. Stayed in room 11 for two nights from 6 Feb 2015. Noticed tiny little reddish brown thing on sheet in morning and thought nothing of it. Then developed around 60 itchy red marks mainly on face neck arms and ankles. Googled it and turns out the little thing on... More

Just returned from a visit after staying 3 dreadful nights in Room 1 on the ground floor. This has been one of my worst experiences at a B&B. While the room has clearly been redecorated recently and looked wonderful with a beautiful bathroom etc my visit was completely spoilt by the dreadful smell in the room - especially from the... Very small room ("economic" room n°11), a bit old (but globally clean), and unfortunately I found one living insect on the bed in the morning (quite sure it's a bed bug), so I cancelled my second night.

My wife and I had been told by numerous people that staying in bed and breakfasts (B&Bs) in Ireland. This was the first of two nights we booked at B&Bs in Ireland with good ratings. We had some difficulty finding it (our own fault) and were very tired from walking a long way by the time we arrived. The door... More

The room was clean, full of optional, the bathrom perfect, The owner has been very kind, she let us keep the car parked for few hour after the check out in order to fix some issues in the city centre. Vote: 10/10

It is difficult to park in front of shandon bells but we had a pleasant experience from start to finish once we were let in. Our room was an attic room, which was quite small but cozy and cleverly laid-out - cozy! There was a full bathtub and very comfortable bed. Nice coffee and tea were available in the room.... More

Nice staff, had no problems and breakfast was excellent. They also have a swanky smoking/chilling area next to the river. In regards to wifi and the negative comments, I was in the room above the dining hall (where it was claimed to only be wifi) so can't really comment. My room was kinda small, but clean and nice in general.... More

Was bit worried reading all the reviews, but this place is really nice. Booked double and triple room for one night. Both had brand new bathrooms, very comfy beds, everything was clean. Didn't book breakfast, so can't comment on that. There's café across the street serving breakfast so I can recommend that. Place is also close to town, few minutes... More

I was due to stay here , But due to circumstances changing I had to cancel , The girl I spoke to told me that was fine ( in very poor English) and not to worry . I have found that they have charged me for the room and are refusing a refund , when I called them the same... More
