I stayed two nights in Crawford House. As I was moving to Cork city a few weeks later, my visit was to look for a place to live and to get to know the city. I chose Crawford House because I read about the warm welcome, the friendly hostess who advised visitors on places to go, the coffee on arrival... more

My cousin and I recently stayed at Crawford House on a recent trip to Cork. We were both extremely impressed with this B&B. The rooms were pleasant and very clean. The owner was incredibly helpful and extremely pleasant. The complimentary breakfast far surpasses the normal continental fare. You can choose from a variety of fresh fruit, juices and cereal or... more

Crawford Guest House was a wonderful surprise from the moment of our arrival to our departure. We were greeted with a tray of hot tea, coffee, and sweets before being shown our accommodations. Our rooms were especially spacious, clean, with bathrooms that appeared to have recently been updated with jacuzzi baths. Everything was just right. Simple but welcoming. The location is... more

Great place to stay while in Cork. It was easy to find being on a main road, and only minutes from the city centre. Cork is a fairly small harbour city but a very busy one. This B&B is near the university along with many guest houses. They have 2 rooms on the ground floor so my elderly mother was... more

Stayed here last week The staff were great ( yes, not all Irish, but should not matter in the EU) The room was lovley, and when you have a Jazussi in the bathroom I thought I was in a 5 star hotel I was in UCC for a conference but will come back to Cork again when I have more... more

Absolutely dreadful. I think it must have changed hands as all the reviews I read before booking were excellent. The staff couldn't have cared less - that's if you could find a member of staff. I booked a room with a jacuzzi and got a pokey hole with a shower and no wardrobe. I asked to be moved and got... more

We really enjoyed our stay at Crawford House. I did request a room in the back as suggested on Tripadvisor and we did not have any problems with the noise. The Breakfast in the morning was awesome and we found the room to be clean and comfortable. The room wasn't over the top luxury, but it really felt like a... more

I knocked at their door having just walked out of the B&B I had booked a few doors away (subject of another review). A lovley (French?) girl invited me in and checked availability for that night. I explained my situation and she rang the owner to see if they could do anything on the rate for a single room. They... more

First we rang the guest house to inform them of our late arrival, not a problem. Arrived, rang the bell and was given a nice friendly welcome with our room key. Went up the the room, let ourselves in and was left in amazemnet at the standard of the room. The quality was very good, then came the joyous raptures... more

Decent enough looking hotel from the outside, and the rooms seemed ok, if a little chintzy, but DON'T GET A ROOM FACING THE STREET! We went to close the window when we were about to sleep, then realised that the windows weren't open - the noise from the street was coming through the apparently double glazed windows as if they... more
