Stayed here while in cork with my brother and sister. Owners were so pleasant. Room was big, clean, perfect. Una, the owner, was so nice and helpful, and breakfast was included. It's in a great central area of cork. Parking in right on premise. I would definitely recommend staying here, I don't have a single complaint.

The room was comfortable and quiet, but i wouldn't say it was a great stay. There were no toilet amenities such as shampoo or soap, and the towels were a bit dirty. Well, I stayed here two weeks payed for by my company, so I could write whatever I want, but truth is this is the best B&B I've ever been! I was in room nr.2 in the back building and the room was big with a big double bed (4 pillows just for me!) and a big bathroom with jacuzzi bath... More

Owner went out of her way to make our 2 night stay very comfortable. We were there with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons, ages 4 and 18 months. Very friendly staff. Made to order breakfast very good.

Maybe charged more then website price so check before booking, Ask for back room, heavy traffic starts at 5am until late at night. No cooked breakfast available at 7am. Western Star Bar on their website map has been knocked down ages ago so don't look for this as landmark.

This accommodation is located at 15 minutes by walk to the city centre of Cork, and just in front of the Science faculty of the University of Cork. Nice and clean. Not too far from the city centre (some 10-15 mins walk with kids). Note though that it is right on a busy street, so do ask for a room at the back if you prefer a quite night. Also, they were rather strict for breakfast time, so don't expect any lie in.
