This is undoubtedly the best B&B that i have stayed at. My girlfriend and I had the choice of staying in a Hotel, but elected to stay at a B&B as we wanted a more personal experience with the people and culture of Cork. We are so glad to have made that choice as our stay at the Fernroyd House... More

Our greeting could not have been nicer! Tony greeted us at the drive and carried our considerable luggage with a smile. The warmth of our welcome continued with suggestions for dining, shopping and travel to Kinsale; a lovely fishing village. Food was so special. Sweet pups, Chipping and Molly were adorable. Could not have found a better home base for... More

This is hands down the best B&B that I have ever stayed in. The room was fresh, clean, large and perfect.. even had Ralph Lauren linen! Tony and Avril also made us feel right at home. Breakfast was wonderful!! Easy walking distance to the centre of Cork. Couldn't recommend more!

I have to say this is probably the best b&b I've ever been in. The food was great, it was warm, cozy, clean, bright to name a few. Location and scenery was immense as well, it is just near enough to the city centre situated in a closed off street with the river just in front. The owners John and... More

Tony and Avril could not have been more warm and welcoming. The bed was incredibly comfofortable and the breakfasts was brilliant. They make fresh scones every morning and did us quorn sausages. The B&B is perfectly located for both the university and the town. I highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B. The fresh scones and tomato relish at breakfast were wonderful. Tony suggested we go to Cobh. So glad we did. The Heritage Center was extremely educational and fun. Thanks, Tony and Averill!!

Although my stay was for only one night, I can warmly recommend this Bed and Breakfast establishment. A very comfortable room, renovated en suite bathroom and a comfy bed was appreciated by this weary traveller. However, it is Tony and Avril's wonderful hospitality that really makes this B & B a must-stay in Cork. Tony is a great advocate about... More

Avril and Tony are incredible hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. I have stayed in many hotels and b&b's and rarely have I been so delighted. This time I was travelling on my own for the first time ever and this was an ideal place for a female solo traveller to stay. The food was plentiful, high quality... More

We spent four nights at the Fenroyd House in October. We greatly appreciated Tony and Avril's assistance in tours, restaurants etc. They even served breakfast to our starving college student that we were visiting! We absolutely loved Cork- quaint, cosmopolitan and safe. Excellent dinners out and fresh, delicious breakfasts at this B and B. Highly recommend. Very close to Cork... More

Booked this B&B without much previous knowledge ... at the time was not sure of their location to downtown . Was pleasantly surprised that it was located in the university are ( worth a visit ) , a short 10 minute walk to downtown , walking along the river . B&B itself is 2 separate buildings , small rooms but... More
