My husband and I stayed for 2 nights whilst a visited family in Cork, all staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 10, didn't get much sleep due to the machines outside, we had to close the windows on the second night which was better, found the beds uncomfortable, and the shower seal was broken and the water went... My friends and I stayed at the Gabriel House in December and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's not far from Cork's city center, maybe 15 minutes on foot. It's on a hill, but unless you're in terrible shape it's not a difficult walk. Breakfast is very good and the service is excellent.... More

For many years when I visited Cork City I stayed at the Gresham Metropole Hotel but during two visits I had serious issues with noise keeping me awake at night so in 2012 I decided to try The Gabriel House Hotel. Gabriel House is a few yards downhill from St Luke's Church which is the most imposing building in the... More

Can not recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff were friendly and super helpful, the hotel was beautifully clean and the breakfast was amazing. We arrived early and Kathleen found somewhere for us to store our bags so we could go sightseeing, we were also given maps and some discount coupons with recommendations of where to go and how to... Myself & my husband stayed here for a night as we were heading to a gig in the Marquee. We travelled by train and the b&b is a short stroll from the station, its also within walking distance of the main streets. The room & attention to detail was first class, not to mention the choice of breakfast. I would... More

We had a wonderful time staying here while we were in Cork. Kathleen and Valerie were super helpful during our stay. The breakfast was good, and they even provided tea and coffee through the evening. They have their own chickens, and ducks that wander the back of the property that you can feed. The entrance and parking lot are at... More

Stayed here for 5 nights to go to the Irish Open golf. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel welcome from Kathleen and all her staff. They are all warm and friendly and willing to help. The room was clean and spacious and had everything you need. Breakfast you had a wide variety, and everything was... More

My long-term boyfriend and his dad are Irish, his dad grew up in Ireland and he wanted to go back there for holiday, I was invited along and am so glad I went. This was my first time visiting Ireland and ever since I crave to go back, it's amazing! We stayed at this B&B in July 2012 for about... More

My husband and I have just returned from Ireland. We had the pleasure of staying this B&B for 3 nights at the beginning of our trip. All the staff were very friendly, even the gardener who we had an enjoyable chat with about the ducks & chickens. Our room was extremely large with a view of the back garden then... More

Stayed here for 3 nights on my first visit to Cork. It was an excellent place to stay and the people were all very friendly and helpful. They provided a map of Cork and information on nearby restaurants including some offering guest discounts. The B&B overlooks the city and is about a 5 minute walk to the railway station and... More
