I stayed here with my family for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. On arrival we were really impressed with the look of this B&B. it's location was perfect for us not right in the centre but easily accessible by foot (even with 2 children in tow). Our family room was very large and relatively clean. It did unfortunately have... More

We stayed here for a night at the end of March so we could explore the Cork area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in describing the local attractions and for getting to Cobh. The location is great and only takes about 15min to walk down into the town. We ate at 14A which was centrally located and pleased... More

We decided to venture to Cork for the weekend at the last minute. When we arrived the staff remembered my name and my sons name from our conversation on the phone. The room we stayed in had great views of the city and was very nice. They had even set up a travel cot for no extra charge for our... More

We were very disappointed with the maid service, the bed linen was never changed during our stay (7 nights), the beds were never made properly, just the eiderdown pulled over. The towels were changed just the once (when we left them on the floor of the shower unit). Cheap but without a minimal service level.

Further to your review, I wish to state that stayover rooms are serviced daily, unless a guest specifies otherwise. Our housekeeping staff refer to a set schedule of sheet changes depending on the duration of stay. Out of respect to the environment towels are only changed when placed on the bathroom floor or in the shower as stated in every... More

I stay here on and off througout the year. The staff have been lovely and welcoming on every occasion. The breakfast (a mixture of buffet and cooked) is generous, well-presented and broad in range. I think it's a very luxurious 3 star and it's great value.

I loved staying at gabriel house. It was a short walk down to town. The receptionist at the front desk valerie was lovely. She was so helpful and kind and had great advice on where to go and eat. I will advise to get the breakfast. It was the best breakfast I had when I was overseas.

Highly recommend. The girl that ran the place was fantastic. I think her was Valerie. She was very helpful. The breakie was very good too. Just outside the main area of cork but still only a short walk.

Check in was quick and receptionist was friendly. Room was very nice with a view of the town and the river. Comfortable bed, free wifi, small flat screen tv, the bath was immaculate, the only downside was I could find no plug for my electric shaver, so I used one in the sleeping area, and I found that the water... Summerhill North climbs from the city centre and is within easy walking distance of both the bus and railway stations in Cork. From the railway station, cross the main road and look for a flight of steps offering a short-cut. The access for Gabriel House is quite steep, with a steeply sloping car park and a steep pedestrian path. I... More

This is a well maintanied B&B guesthouse in a goog location on the hill overlooking Cork central city area. Very friendly and helpful reception. Nice breakfast in an open area. Easy walk down the hill to restauants, pubs and city centre shopping.
