I stayed here with my parents and my boyfriend and we loved this place: the beds are very comfortable, the host is kind and friendly and we had a delicious traditional Irish breakfast. There's free wifi in the rooms and in the hall and the hotel is near the city center and the station. We felt like we were at... More

This was not my B&B of choice in Cork, but ended up here after the original B&B lost my booking. The owner is a very friendly and helpful lady, but the rooms, while clean, are very dated, and the road noise from the N8 just outside our window didn't abate until 4:00am. The housing is very quaint; the rooms are very clean. We had to climb many stairs, but considered it part of our exercise regime...wonderful host!!! They cleaned our rooms and made our bed daily. We stayed about 4 days and they are right near the train station. We walked everywhere (good exercise) and it was a 10 minute walk to... More

Enjoyed our stay at the Oakland B&B in Cork. The hostess is a charming lady who knows how to cook a great breakfast. Don't let the outside appearance detour you from enjoying this lodging. I was pleasantly surprised by our stay there. A little difficult to find if your not familiar with the area, but worth the search. Room was... More
