Our only disappointment was the view. We booked the Lancaster Lodge because of the riverview, but the river was smaller than expected and the hotel mostly landlocked. Our room also faced a back parking lot, although there was a beautiful church in prominent in the background. Otherwise, we were satisfied with Lancaster Lodge. The room was clean. The bed was... We stayed at Lancaster Lodge for 4 nights. The rooms were very nice. The room we originally booked was spacious and very pleasant but, as it had a slight problem with the shower, we were upgraded on the second day to a room with the wow factor and even given a complimentary bottle of wine for being inconvenienced. Amazing customer... More

We spent 3 nights with some friends at this lodge in April 2012. The rooms are large, spacious and quite. There is on site parking and numerous pubs and restaurants close by. The staff are very friendly and helpful and would certainly stay here again if we visit Cork. Breakfasts are very generous and the service is quick and friendly. More

I've stayed here a few times on a work trip. It's nothing special but good value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are nice, there is free parking and the location is great - it's just a short stroll to the city center. There is both a buffet and menu breakfast option. This place is ideal... More

I stayed here for two nights over the Easter weekend. The location is quite central and easily within walking distance to the city centre of the city (10 minute walk to University College Cork in one direction and 10 minute walk to St. Patrick’s Street in the other). The room I had was modern, clean, and comfortable with a clean... More

Had three nights here over Easter and found the place first class. Location couldn't have been better. The breakfasts were wholesome and filling with plenty of choice. The staff were pleasant and helpful, informative about the area and pubs, restaurants, etc. felt well looked after in clean and more than adequate accommodation. Would recommend anytime and will stay again if... More

We stayed here for one night to get a taste of the city of Cork. The location was convenient for walking to the center of the city, plus they had plenty of free car parking for guests. The rooms were basic, but updated, clean, and nice. Vending machines in the stairwell. We did not try their breakfast, but there are... More

We were very pleased with our one night stay in this B&B- In fact it is beter than several small hotels we have stayed in. It is just like a hotel set-up but without the bar & restaurant. The room was exactly like the pictures on the website. Unfortunately we had a room to the back - overlooking a car... More

Lancaster Lodge is a guest house so facilities are limited to rooms, lounge and dining room for breakfast. It is a perfect spot for a family or anyone who wants to be within a few minutes walk of the Uni and the city centre. Continental breakfasts are €6 and excellent value. The full Irish is €10 which is reasonable. There... More
