I stayed here for one night and it was booked by my office. My colleagues regullarly stay here. For me its not the style of accomodation I normally choose. I prefer to stay in a large hotel as opposed to a small personable property but in saying that for the one simple night it was more than adequate. My biggest... more

Spent only one night in Belvedere and wouldn't stay there again. Although the room was big and well equipped, it was gloomy and very cold. I had to ask twice for the heating to be turned on. Also, there was only one blanket (no duvets here) on the bed and no spare one in the room. Again, I had to... more

We recently visited County Cork. At the Belvedere B&B. What a treat. We arrived extremely late. (1am) After the most hair-raising flight. So you could say our nerves were little shaken. We had to wake the poor lady, who cheerfully showed us to our room in her pyjama's, she then made sure the heating was on and that we had... more

I repeat my message. The staff was friendly, the size of the room was big enough, the bathroom was very clean and the breakfast excellent. Some things in the room have been robbed BUT FORTUNATELY the problem has been solved. more

This was a great little place to stay--the room was clean and incredibly spacious, the staff was very friendly, and the standard breakfast was the best spread I've ever seen for a continental. They had the option to pay for a hot breakfast but it wasn't even needed in my opinion. My only complaint is that someone who recommended it... more

I booked the Belvedere Lodge early as we were staying there on Easter Monday 2007. I completed the booking directly through the website, and only had a slight problem upon arrival, because they booked the room under my email and not my name. We pre-booked our first night there and were so pleased that we booked our final night there... more

Having read a couple of less than flattering reviews I was somewhat aprehensive but no need. The welcome was as warm and friendly as from a favourite aunt. The room was immaculate and very well furnished. The staff were friendly and more than helpful, and breakfast was a delight. Although there is a flyover across the road from the hotel,... more

We had booked for a four night stay and left after the first night. We would have left immediately, but we had a baby with us and it was 7.00pm. Our reason for leaving was the manager's attitude. We had a couple of problems when we arrived; especially the location. Right on a mian road with a flyover next to... more

The room was large with two double beds, the bathroom was large also. The bed was made with blankets. Our window looked out on to the motorway at the front door, however we didnt find it particularly noisy. The rooms looking onto the garden would have been nicer I'm sure. Perhaps asking for one would work. The parking was plentiful,... more
