We stayed here mid-January 2012 for one night. The 261 bus from city centre stops right outside, otherwise it is about 30 mins walk! (unless you have a car of course) Very friendly and helpful girl checked us in and we were shown to lovely big room on ground floor, with small sittingroom conservatory leading off, all double glazed -... Myself and my boyfriend stayed 2 nights in Belverdere lodge. As we normally stay in hotels our expectations were not very high but we were SO pleasantly suprised. The staff were so friendly, the room was great, the whole guesthouse was full of character and so close to everywhere we needed to be. The breakfast was definately the best part... More

A comfortable, spacious room with a clean bathroom. We were welcomed well by the host, who was friendly and helpful. We were initially slightly put off by the location as the hotel is situated right by a busy flyover. However we had a room at the back and we did not hear any noise. We had a car, so drove... More

Stayed a couple of nights here while touring Ireland. Central city locations everywhere in the British Isles tend to be expensive and obviously the Euro exchange rate for us poor Brits doesn't help so I was amused the car park was mainly filled with UK registered plates. At just over £40 per night this was the best deal I could... More

This is really more of a guesthouse than a B&B: its quite a large place but plenty of parking and not difficult to find. The room was huge and warm. Flat screen tv, free wifi and complimentary tea/coffee was a welcome addition for the low price I paid. I'd certainly consider this as an alternative to a hotel. The only... More

First things first; the good points were that the breakfast was hearty, varied & plentiful. The staff were friendly & helpful & the place itself is pleasant & more interesting when compared to your average B & B, in that it's always nice to stay in a place with a bit of character. However. Our room, though huge with a... More

We didnt arrive in time to enjoy high tea in the garden but will definitly next time. We were treated so well, personal touch. The bedroom was spacious & had an extra room leading off it with a couch and coffee table. Bed was big and comfy. Such an interesting house and the gardens are full of interest also. When... More

Smells weird...its cold and doesn't have a warm home feeling. Extremely out dated. I just feel dirty being here...it's hard to explain. Spend a little more and stay somewheres nicer. Trust me. More

Very quaint, clean B&B. Friendly and helpful staff... Off a very busy highway, but never heard a peep of noise from my room. More
