We had three nights in this place and enjoy a very comfortable stay. Our room had a good size, and was very quiet and clean. The breakfast splendid. Although Belvedere Lodge is located a bit far away from the city centre, it is really worthy

A very comfortable Guest House but it appears that their administration and financial records are not accurately maintained. Three errors occurred with my booking, although I was only there one night, on 21st June this year. The main error being that I paid in cash when checking out on 22nd June and five weeks later on 23rd July the hotel... More

We had one night in the Belvedere Lodge and would definitely return. Our bedroom was large, with a door opening out to a communal courtyard. It was clean and I had a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. The lady who checked us in also gave us some good advice for what to do in Cork... More

Like has been mention in previous reviews the building is very old and could do with a bit of a refurbished. But saying that the charm of the building is undeniable. It is clean and tidy throughout and the rooms are a nice size. They don't have duvets just blankets and sheets, but they were comfortable enough. Breakfast was lovely,... More

We booked here as we were going to a concert in the marquee in cork. One word of advice... It's miles away! There's no bridge across the river nearby so you'll need to be prepared to get buses or taxis! But that's not the guest houses fault :) Our room was dated and could do with a revamp but was... More

One never knows what to expect when staying in a 130 year old house with its creaks and comforts. The owners of Belvedere welcomed us like family. If you don't require the service and amenities of hotel chains, you'll love this place. Clean, comfortable and affordable with a delicious, made-to-order breakfast.

We stayed two nights and had a rom on the back side away from the road. It is on a busy road. The room was comfortable & the shower excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful. We asked about where to do laundry & were told to bring the laundry down & it would be picked up & ready... More

Quaint and a bit dated and run down, but the room was clean, my bed was comfy, the shower was hot and strong, the staff went above and beyond for all requests, and the breakfast was delicious. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. It is a bit far from the center of town - definitely not walking distance - but... More

This Guest House had great reviews, pictures looked good and we thought it was in a good location. It is on a very noisy, busy street/main highway pretty far from the center of town (not within walking distance). The bus stop into town is across the street but once in town it is still a walk to get anywhere. We... More

I was on the lower floor and I felt like I was in a dungeon. The cleanliness of the room was not that great. Couch had stains on it. Beds were hard. Shower and pressure was great which is hard to come across in Ireland. Not far from town.
