Good B&B, Good breakfast, Popular bar (with the locals to), Friendly staff, A minutes walk to the city Centre and bus station, Irish music most nights in the hotel bar. Recommend Clancy's for good value food. Dont recommend the Indian restaurants in Cork (Little India in particular was quite possibly the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to... more

Went down to Cork for a friend's 30th recently and booked into the Windsor. The main attraction was the price which I thought was extremely reasonable considering the central location. On arrival we were warmly greeted by one of the owners who was more than helpful and carried our bags up to our room. He also pointed us in the... more

Friends advised us to book the weekends for hotels in Ireland and we chose the Windsor Inn as their website paints a somewhat rosy picture and a great price. However, we were disappointed with the location : not the most savoury street in Cork. Our room at the back on the top floor was somewhat dated and old and lugging... more

The main reason I can't give this hotel a better review is the major stains (what looked like blood) on the bed sheets. Another negative is the lack of an elevator. In addition, although the location is close to the city center and bus station, the street the inn is on doesn't have a great feel to it, especially at... more

The Windsor Inn was an excellent place to stay in, with comfortable rooms that were spacious as well, which is unexpected when first looked at. The location is so convenient to go around the city centre (literally 5 min walk) and the train station (maybe a 7 min walk). Yes there are stairs, but heck, we all need the exercise.... more

Myself and my Wife stayed at the Windsor Inn for 4 days in July. The place is charming and full of character. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was tasty and generous and we loved the traditional music session that was on downstairs in the bar. The staff were pleasant especially Michelle. The location was great, and close to lots... more

I was stayed at the Windsor Inn in mid- June, with my husband, parents, and brother. The location was great for those who like to walk about downtown, and it was relatively easy to get to from the airport. The staff was great, the rooms clean, and the food was good. It wasa good value for money and hopefully if... more

The rooms (even the the single rooms) were very spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is very filling and has a wide selection of cereals and fruit and hot meals. The LV bar has live music every night and is great to get a feeling of Ireland. I would recommend this hotel. It is... more

Excellent accommodation, room clean, breakfast great, real value for money, location good and at night there is no need to go far at night the Bar was brilliant and restaurants/fast food a couple of doors away. Will definitely be going back. We had family visit while we stayed and this didn't cause any problem like in some bigger Hotels. Linda... more

Stayed here on business, yes the hotel is a little bit dated but for the price including breakfast of under 50 Euro absolutely no complaints.... Room is a fine size with TV etc, good breakfast and friendly staff, and the bar is downstairs which seems to be busy with a few of the locals(always a good sign)!!! Brgds Johnny more
