Amazing service, every hour of the day they went out of their way to meet our needs. We arrived late and they prepared us a great welcome meal (see pictures). Our room was amazing with free wifi to boot. We wish we had been able to spend more time at breakfast, as it was truly a one of a kind... more

All the other reviews are right, the Garnish is excellent! Not one problem to mention. We checked in late which was no problem. Every staff member we came across we great. Our room was very nice, just enough room, spotlessly clean, good size fridge empty of any contents and nice bathroom with good pressure and hot water in the shower.... more

I have just returned from staying at Garnish House for a few days & it always feels like going home, Johanna, Marcel & Michael make you feel so welcome not only on your arrival but during your stay also. I visit Cork a few times during the year & wouldn't consider staying anywhere else, it is more than a B&B... more

My husband and I were on our honeymoon (we visited parts of Ireland and Scotland) and stayed at the Garnish House for 2 nights - May 23 and May 24. When we arrived, we were greeted with an afternoon tea that left us full and happy for hours...we STILL talk about how good the scones and cakes were. The tea... more

This is a fantastic B & B. The owners welcome you, show you to your beautiful room, then tell you to come down for afternoon tea when settled in. The rooms have everything in them , iron ironing board, fan, toiletries and are imaculately clean. We went down for tea and were greeted with a table set out with cakes,... more

We've just returned from a three-week trip including stops in England, Wales and Ireland. We stayed in some rather dreary B and Bs, some that were adequate, and the Garnish House, which appears to be in a class by itself. We were greeted at the door by the gracious Johanna who "convinced" us that we needed some refreshment and brought... more

Me and my husband stayed at Garnish house on 19th April for one night. We arrived mid afternoon after a very long drive and were greeted by an extremely cheerful and friendly gentleman, who took us to our room and then asked us to meet him downstairs for afternoon tea. We were sat down in a little guest lounge in... more

Stayed at the Garnish House B&B during a trip to Cork last week. My friend and I arrived from Shannon (0vernight trip from the US) at 9 AM uncertain if we would be able to check in so early. Although our rooms were not ready, Johanna, (the proprietor) was very accommodating, suggesting that we have breakfast while the rooms were... more

We stayed here with friends for 3 nights in March - covering St. Patricks Day!! We were greeted on the door step by the owner and showed into the dining room for afternoon tea. It was amazing.......home made scones & cakes and plenty of them!! We were not rushed in anyway and when we were ready we were shown to... more
