It was difficult to believe this B&B was open for business. No B&B signage made the place very difficult to find. Our Satnav found the way to to Aras Tara, because it is a bit out of the way, being in Blackrock rather than Cork. However once found the location is attractive as it overlooks the River Lee. The Cork signage makes this lovely B&B hard to find, but well worth the trouble! Eclectic decoration is part of the charm, and the delicious cookies in the room with welcome tea/coffee are a plus.
