Spent a early weekday night here in June 2009, got a bargain rate of 69 euro via BookAssist for a standard room, thought it seemed good value. Travelled from Dublin to Cork via the 7am Aircoach got to Cork just before 11am and checked in around 2pm. Girl on reception was very friendly, we asked for a room that does... More

I like this hotel. The entrance at night with its illuminated waterfall is dramatic. I've stayed there a couple of times and always been happy. Good "full Irish" breakfast. The only issue I've had with the place is the smell of smoke in a non-smoking room. I would single out for special comment the girl on reception (on duty 28... More

upon entering the courtyard and being greeted by the waterfall i had great expectations of this hotel the rooms are spacious but again i could not get over the strange glass wall that looks out into the hall or the dreadful bath room that stank, the bathroom really let down the stay it had cracked tiles a strange loo like... My best friend and I were away for a long weekend, a birthday present from me to her. I booked the hotel based on location and the reasonable rates. The room was a spacious twin the only disappointment was that it was a smoking room and there was a distict odour about the place. The bathroom a little on the... More

My wife and I booked a two night stay (Monday 9th February 2009 to Wednesday 11th February 2009) as well as booking a table at the hotel restaurant “Greenes” for the Tuesday night. This would be our final night and as it was my birthday and following recommendations from various websites and guide books things couldn’t of have looked better.... More

We stayed here over New Years 2009. The hotel had free parking nearby. The staff were helpful. The location was just a short walk to the main center, and it was in a safe area. The room itself was clean. The bathroom was old, but still clean. The room had a cute setup with stairs leading up to the bed... More

Stayed for one night. Nice hotel, got up-graded (so they said). Room was nice, spacious & clean (which is the most important thing). Hotel close to city centre. Only down fall-no parking! There is a car park down the road but you have to pay. Bit of a nusience really. Would stay here again.

We arrived late at the hotel at about 10.30pm and our first view on approaching the reception was the view of the waterfall which was really nice. When we arrived at reception, we were greeted with a nice friendly smile from the receptionist and were checked in quickly and efficently. We then made our way to our room which was... More

My stay at Isaacs was disappointing - the reception staff were abrupt and didn't go out of their way to be helpful. On arrival at 1:15 we were asked in an aggressive tone 'you do know that check-in is 2pm?' I hadn't checked the check-in time but it wouldn't really have been a problem if the attitude had been different,... More

I stayed in the Issac hotel for two nights in December. The first night was adequate- the room smelt very strongly of smoke despite being a no smoking room. The whole room looked a little grubby but the bed had clean sheets on and the shower was powerful- overall it was just ok. The second night I had to check... More
