Hotel Isaacs is a grand old building, only a few blocks over the river from the bus station and all of central Cork. The staff is very nice. The waterfall is amazing. Overall, a very nice spot. It would have been nice if the windows were openable. Otherwise, a pleasant and reasonable place to stay.

I booked directly with the hotel. I found the staff very helpful and friendly in a relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main shopping, dining and night-life areas. I had breakfast for the time I was there and I have never eaten porridge that tasted as good. Thumbs up to the breakfast chef. The... More

We stayed one night, one night was enough. We asked for a double bed and got twin beds,we went to reception to tell them and his replie was we are booked out, not even an apology, while the other loud receptionist just smirked and repeated they were booked out. The rooms are very old and cold. The bathroom was filthy.We... More

Room small. No air conditioning. Noise very bad from the street. Shower no pressure. Room could do with an overhaul. Lift like something out of the 1970s. On the plus side the staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean. Bed very comfortable. Location is very good for shopping.

Spent one night in the isaacs first off all the positives , lovely welcoming staff and a really relaxed atmosphere. The rooms really need a refresh and brought up to the standard of a modem traveller, if you where paying below a 100 euro it would be okay but over 100 more is expected. The location for the centre is great but... I found this hotel on booking.com and it looked like a good option for our weekend in Cork so I booked it. Overall, it was okay but I would probably look for something different if I return to Cork. Location: It is pretty well located on MacCurtain Street, which has many dining options and is close to the centre of... More

I stayed in Hotel Isaacs during the week with three friends. On arrival the receptionist was so kind and helpful. We availed of carparking a three min walk away for 6.50 which was convenient for cork city. We were given a two bed apartment which was very cozy.It was fully kitted out with cutlery, glasses etc. Really modern design throughout... More

The hotel has guest rooms and self contained apartments, which is where I stayed. It was very well equipped, the kitchen, although small also has a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. There is a Spar right next to the hotel where you can get fresh croissants in the morning. The best place for shopping is the English market in the... More

Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for a night in June. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the main shopping street (10 min walk) and several bars. There are 2 very good restraurants next to the hotel. The apartment was very fit for purpose and very reasonably priced. There is lovely entrance with a waterfall and very helpful... More

All of the staff at Hotel Isaacs were the most welcoming and friendly that I have encountered. They offered advice and were very willing to help with any of our needs and enquiries. The breakfast was also the best in terms of value for money, taste and variety of foods. The room was unfortunately quite expensive considering there was no... More
