A gem of a hotel- this hotel surpassed our expectations in every way- the hotel is charming and is in a very quaint setting. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We found our room to be spotless and very pleasant overlooking the courtyard. We were entirely happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone... More

This was my first time in Ireland and I couldn't have stayed in a better hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff, especially Regina were absolutely fantastic they made our stay. The whole atmosphere and of course the waterfall just all added to a great time. The staff are a credit to the hotel and the city. 😃😃👍🏻👍🏻

Large comfortable bedrooms, fantastic location, minutes from the city centre. Lovely heated patio with waterfall, perfect for a quiet drink before bed. Parking available at extra cost very close by, but up a steep hill, so not ideal for disabled access.

We stayed in the "apartments" part of this property, as we had four people and had trouble finding a room at a regular "hotel" that would accommodate us. It really was an apartment, with two bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Although we only started one night, would have been great for a longer stay. The location is across the river... More

The location is close enough to walk to City Centre but if you are parking it is not convenient - the parking lot is about 2/3 blocks away and up a very steep hill. It is locked and you have to return the key after using it each time if the hotel is full. That can be inconvenient. We had... More

Thanks Mel455, As a result of your comments, and others, we are installing a new drain at the front of the entrance and planning a new porch. We know are car park is not ideal so offer better value then the other carparks around the area as a goodwill gesture. Thanks for taking the time to post a review. Arthur... More

Though it's not directly in the city centre, it's a quick jaunt over the river to the shops, restaurants, and coaches to get to Blarney. And about a mile down the road from the train station to which can walk or take the bus from the stop right in front of the hotel. Beautiful old hotel.

Stayed in Room 311 on the top floor, a small room with a twin bed, desk, wardrobe, desk, TV and hot water kettle. The bathroom was also small. It was fine for 2 nights. I had excellent breakfasts at Greenes Restaurant, located on the ground floor. Their smoked salmon and scrambled eggs is heavenly. Although I didn't sign up for... More

This was my first stay at Hotel Isaacs and I was very pleased. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was relatively small but fine for a solo guest. Breakfast was terrific. The location made getting to the main shopping street and the train station quick and easy. A small issue was the step into the bathroom which could do... More

Hotel Isaacs is a grand old building, only a few blocks over the river from the bus station and all of central Cork. The staff is very nice. The waterfall is amazing. Overall, a very nice spot. It would have been nice if the windows were openable. Otherwise, a pleasant and reasonable place to stay.
