Stayed here for one night. Hotel is in a good location to train station and city centre. Room was ok but bathroom was very dated and lift is tiny. Only two types of beer on tap which was surprising for a hotel. Restaurant menu was very limited and mainly catered for sea food lovers. Not the most comfortable seating either... More

I stayed here for work. The bar/restaurant and reception areas all looked great, The rooms, while clean and comfortable, are a little out-dated. There's a great looking outdoor eating area around the back, with a waterfall. Unfortunately I didn;t get to use it because the weather was awful!!

My husband and I, as well as my sister and her family, stayed at Hotel Isaacs in July. The price was reasonable and the location was ideal. The atmosphere and decor of the public areas of the hotel is lovely. The lobby is nice and inviting, and the waterfall and flora that is situated at the back near Greenes Restaurant... More

Dear BDcork, Thank you for taking the time to let us know how your visit to us went. I am disappointed that we did not provide what was promised, we have carried out training and taken steps to insure this type of communication gets through to the kitchen and service team in future. Thank you again. More

Booked a 2 night stay for the in-laws for their 25th wedding anniversary. Receptionist on the phone was lovely told me she would put them into a lovely suite over looking a walk way and river...but...that's not what happened. They checked into a room that was only big enough for the double bed in it! Not only that but there... More

I stayed here in July for one night whilst touring southern island. The hotel location is very central, we walked to the bar & restaurant street And town centre in ten minutes. A nice bar across the road that played Great music & had a good atmosphere. I found the hotel tatty and basic. Rooms could do with a refurbish.... More

A two night stay at this well located hotel with a good standard restaurant in March 2014. Room overlooked the water feature away from the road. Road could be noisy at weekends. Staff very helpful and Restaurant food was very good. Car parking in grounds of nearby church.

Dermott q Thanks for your comments and review. Many of our rooms overlook the courtyards and waterfall and offer quieter room experiences, we love guests to let us know, when they book, their preferences and we will certainly try to facilitate business permitting. We stayed here in July, in one of the two bed apartments. The weather was very good, which meant the rooms were far too hot. Air conditioning did not work and there was only one room fan between the rooms. Due to the heat, sleeping was very difficult. Apart from this problem the place was reasonably equipped and very clean.... More

I stayed at this hotel with my partner. I found the front of desk staff to be friendly and helpful. The courtyard outside of the hotel was lovely. The bedroom was to hot and shabby. I opened the windows only to be awoken be the street activity and noise. The main thing this hotel had going for it was location.

Dear Thebiker50, thank you very much for your considered review. I will pass your compliments to the team. Happily we are undergoing a refurbishment in the near future which will offer a new standard of comfort to our guests. We are a center city location so understandably traffic can be an issue, we have also a good selection of rooms... More

You will love Hotel Isaacs in Cork. It is all and more that you could expect from a central location on a busy street among redbrick buildings. Some may find it noisy, but I love the city sounds and the bustle of early morning in a city. Rooms were air conditioned and spacious, good toiletries, and a wonderful breakfast where... More

Dear StoryM, Thank you for your review, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. Our delightful Victorian building was built at the end of the Nineteenth Century and harks back to a great period in Cork architecture. Arthur Little General Manager More

Myself and my partner stayed at Hotel Isaacs for 2 nights on 21/07/2014. We arrived early and a clean room was available so we could check in at 9am instead of the usual time of 2pm! Clean, well decorated rooms, very comfy bed and there is what appears to be an air con unit in our room 215 which was... More
