My friend and I stayed in Isaacs Hotel in Cork as we were attending a play at the Everyman Theatre, which is just across the road so the hotel is an ideal venue if you are travelling to Cork for theatre. The room was extremely spacious with a very comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and... More

I think I was lured into booking this room based on the pictures of the outside sitting area. The service at this hotel is dismal, but I can't completely blame the staff because it seems that the entire city of Cork is full of grumpy people. I felt like the area is somewhat dicey as well. I wish we would... More

Yesterday on the bus from Dublin to Cork, I booked Isaacs online through my phone. Unfortunately I booked for 3 weeks in advance and didn't realise until I got there late last night. Maria the receptionist was just amazing. She immediately sorted a room and helped remedy the situation. She even called Expedia also and couldn't have been of more... More

This is a great location if you are visiting Cork on a short break. We stayed here for a 3 night break on a room only basis. You are so central to the city centre there is an abundance of bistro's and restaurant's only minute's away. Our room was roomy and very comfortable overall. Again, we did'nt use the bar/restaurant... More

Our booking was for 4 nights last month. On checking in, they had only booked 3 nights for our stay, and the price reflected 4 nights. This was easily fixed, but if the place was completely booked, there would have been an issue. Our room was dated and was cramped as it contained a double and a single. The room... More

Stayed here for one night. Hotel is in a good location to train station and city centre. Room was ok but bathroom was very dated and lift is tiny. Only two types of beer on tap which was surprising for a hotel. Restaurant menu was very limited and mainly catered for sea food lovers. Not the most comfortable seating either... More

I stayed here for work. The bar/restaurant and reception areas all looked great, The rooms, while clean and comfortable, are a little out-dated. There's a great looking outdoor eating area around the back, with a waterfall. Unfortunately I didn;t get to use it because the weather was awful!!

My husband and I, as well as my sister and her family, stayed at Hotel Isaacs in July. The price was reasonable and the location was ideal. The atmosphere and decor of the public areas of the hotel is lovely. The lobby is nice and inviting, and the waterfall and flora that is situated at the back near Greenes Restaurant... More

Dear BDcork, Thank you for taking the time to let us know how your visit to us went. I am disappointed that we did not provide what was promised, we have carried out training and taken steps to insure this type of communication gets through to the kitchen and service team in future. Thank you again. More

Booked a 2 night stay for the in-laws for their 25th wedding anniversary. Receptionist on the phone was lovely told me she would put them into a lovely suite over looking a walk way and river...but...that's not what happened. They checked into a room that was only big enough for the double bed in it! Not only that but there... More
