My husband and I stayed at Hotel Isaacs last October while backpacking through Ireland. The hotel has a great outdoor courtyard that adds to the charm. The rooms weren't anything special, the decor was dated, but the rooms were definitely big compared to European standards. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel, as well. Breakfast is not included in... More

The room was really nice and large and had good wifi access. The building is a converted warehouse and has some lovely features. Unfortunately our room faced the main busy road and it is noisy ALL night. The empty beer barrels are put out at 5am for some reason. Car noise was constant through the night. It is Ireland so... Lovely 3 night stay at this hotel, nice room and bathroom. It is slightly older but that doesn't effect the stay at the hotel at all. We had breakfast one morning which you pay extra for and that was lovely. The hotel is very close to the city centre which is great, I would stay here again when next in... More

Stayed here last night in a big comfortable room overlooking McCurtain St. It is very easy to find if you are driving into the city and the River Lee is on your left hand side. Continue along until you get to Patrick Street bridge (Merchants Quay shopping centre will be running alongside you over the river...a large red bricked building.)... More

I have nothing negative to say about this hotel but it's not a "Wow" hotel either. The room I had for 2 persons had an older style and furniture but bath room was remodelled. Good location about 5min walk to Cork city center. Good beds and quiet sleep. Did not eat at the hotel restaurant though that is supposed to... More

The hotel, which is next to a waterfall, is well positioned and located. Opposite the Everyman Theatre and within easy walking distance of the river and shops (including the English Market) Hotel Issacs is a great place to stay. The staff were really helpful and the rooms were clean; the bathroom was a bit too small and it was difficult... More

We enjoyed two nights here. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The waterfall was an unusual feature. Reasonably located, a ten minute walk from both the railway station and Patrick Street.
