Stayed here for convenience more than anything else. I was due to get an early train from Cork to Dublin on the second morning so I needed to be near for the 6 am start. I had dined in Iascs before and is a very enjoyable experience but this was my first time staying. It really is a gem in... More

This was my second visit to Cork and my second stay at Issacs'. I booked this up for a group of 6 and they all commented how much they liked the hotel. Perfectly situated on the outskirts of the city centre and within walking distance of the bars, shops and most attractions. The room we had (213) was situated facing... More

I booked into Hotel Isaacs on a business trip, it was close to the Blackpool area where I needed to go (20/25 minute walk). It's in a busy part of the city, particularly at night. The waterfall feature is nice, and pretty. The staff were very good and answered all my questions and helped me when they could. My room... More

My friend and I stayed in Isaacs Hotel in Cork as we were attending a play at the Everyman Theatre, which is just across the road so the hotel is an ideal venue if you are travelling to Cork for theatre. The room was extremely spacious with a very comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and... More

I think I was lured into booking this room based on the pictures of the outside sitting area. The service at this hotel is dismal, but I can't completely blame the staff because it seems that the entire city of Cork is full of grumpy people. I felt like the area is somewhat dicey as well. I wish we would... More

Yesterday on the bus from Dublin to Cork, I booked Isaacs online through my phone. Unfortunately I booked for 3 weeks in advance and didn't realise until I got there late last night. Maria the receptionist was just amazing. She immediately sorted a room and helped remedy the situation. She even called Expedia also and couldn't have been of more... More

This is a great location if you are visiting Cork on a short break. We stayed here for a 3 night break on a room only basis. You are so central to the city centre there is an abundance of bistro's and restaurant's only minute's away. Our room was roomy and very comfortable overall. Again, we did'nt use the bar/restaurant... More

Our booking was for 4 nights last month. On checking in, they had only booked 3 nights for our stay, and the price reflected 4 nights. This was easily fixed, but if the place was completely booked, there would have been an issue. Our room was dated and was cramped as it contained a double and a single. The room... More

Stayed here for one night. Hotel is in a good location to train station and city centre. Room was ok but bathroom was very dated and lift is tiny. Only two types of beer on tap which was surprising for a hotel. Restaurant menu was very limited and mainly catered for sea food lovers. Not the most comfortable seating either... More
