Myself and my partner stayed at Hotel Isaacs for 2 nights on 21/07/2014. We arrived early and a clean room was available so we could check in at 9am instead of the usual time of 2pm! Clean, well decorated rooms, very comfy bed and there is what appears to be an air con unit in our room 215 which was... More

Stayed one night while attending Neil Young concert. Very dissappointed with our initial room, badly needed a refurbishment. Staff switched us to another room which was nicer but was opposite the resturant kitchen.... very noisey the following morning as dustbins were being moved at about 7 am. Good breakfast freshly cooked. Staff on reception were friendly. Lovely waterfall outside and... More

The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to the bus station, train station, shopping center and most restaurants. It's across the street from the Everyman theatre, which was a good place to see a show. They should provide free wifi though. We paid 5 euro a day. That should be included in your hotel price/ the rooms... More

We stayed at this hotel at the start (2 nights) and end (1 night) of our two week holiday to tour Southern Ireland ... 1st impressions : a run down hotel on a busy road in a run down area of Cork. No Guest car parking at the hotel - but secure parking available down the road. The staff were... More

The hotel is very close to the city center, in a nice old building with some interesting touches such as the waterfall by the restaurant. The receptionist was very friendly. The room was an OK size but badly needs some refurbishment. The desk chair had strips of vinyl hanging of and some exposed pieces of metal on the side of... More

Lovely comfy, huge, clean room with great, modern bathroom! Can't fault the room at all I was really comfortable. I was also sick with tonsillitis so it was a lovely environment to rest and relax in. The staff were all friendly and breakfast was lovely. Shop close by and within walking distance of bus station and railway station, and of... More

Having last been in Cork for the Jazz festival nearly 10 years ago it was lovely to be back and this time with my wife. We decided to go up market as opposed to the B&B I stayed at the last time and we managed to get an apartment at Hotel Isaacs. We stayed 3 nights in Apartment 7 and... More

The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the city & close to Patrick Street with its shops & restaurants. It has a stunning little courtyard with a beautiful waterfall, the restaurant looks out onto this area. We arrived early & knew that the room would not be ready, however the receptionist took our bags in... More

There were 14 of us in town for triple 50th birthday celebrations. One couple had stayed here previously, so recommended the hotel. Given that all we wanted was a base for the weekend, this proved great. Can't comment on Greenes restaurant as we ate out, however, was always busy. Breakfast very generous, some of the tastiest sausages I've eaten. Our... More
