Loved staying here! The owners are so friendly and helpful, location is perfect for the city centre and the rooms were spotless! Breakfast was delicious, proper cure! Taxi to the closest pub to the marquee was 12€, taxi back to the b&b from town was only 5€, will definitely be back if we're back in Cork again.

This guesthouse was a bit disappointing. The location could be better. However, there is a bus stop directly beside it if you wish to go into the city centre. It is right beside University college though, if you wish to visit it. The guesthouse had no elevator, so I did have to lug my luggage up a couple flights, so... More

If you want to experience the kindness of Irish people, try the Redcliffe. Despite the fact that the hotel was nearly full, the hostess took the time to talk to us and to give us some advice. We were in a room at the front side, facing the gardens of the beautiful University college of Cork, on Western Road. This... More

Stayed 2 nights, changed rooms for second night. Room 2 was smallish and not good storage space (shelving). But we were moved because the shower room extractor fan and mirror light didn't work. Found neither worked in Room 8 either, but by the time we got back that evening, all was working - so very impressed with how quickly that... More

We stayed in this B/B and we could not believe such a place still existed. It is shabby and in dire need of upgrading. The owner is slovenly and careless in his presentation. The carpet in stairs and landings is fine but the two bedrooms we stayed were all stained and shabby. The only reason we did not leave straight away... More

The house was cold. I arrived at 6pm, no heating on, I was lucky that I was going out to eat. On my return, the house still freezing. Then the owners returned and turned on the heat. Too little too late. Everything about the this place is rough and ready.

I've stayed here several times now, and plan on staying again next week. The house is old but has tons of character. The rooms are big & warm . The en-suites are new looking an Clean. The showers are amazing. The location is excellent for the Bon's Hospital & college . The family who run this B&B are easy going... More

I attended a course in the nearby River Lee Hotel but didn't need to stay there, so I chose this guesthouse out of the many on the Western Road. I stayed twice in a single room on 2 different weeks. The room was big, spotless and I enjoyed a good nights sleep on both occasions. TV in bedroom also. The... More

Hi. Today I'm in Cork. I'm staying for one day. I chose ( Redclyffe Guest House ). I'm very lucky in this House. This is a big house. The people here are very friendly. WI-FI free. And the location is good. Fron the river.
