I've always been a believer in that "you get what you pay for". 59 Euros per night for bed and breakfast is by most standards pretty cheap and clearly at the lower end of the market - any cheaper and you'd be looking at a shared dorm rooms in a Hostel. I'm not daft enough to pick the cheapest hotel... More

Overall it wasn't a bad place but the rooms are very small and lack the kind of charm that one would expect from the exterior. Breakfast was very good and the manager was a very chap with a nice sense of humour. Just a bit of a walk into town but it was convenient for any touring east or north... More

Nobody would answer the door to us,had to ring the telephone to get anyone to the door. A kid left us in and brought us up to the room. Clean room, spacious, but we weren't told what time breakfast was, check out time was. It just felt very unprofessional. Location is very handy for cork city

My family had 2 rooms and only stayed one night, which was more than enough. The bathroom had mold on the walls and a big hole in the tile right in front of the shower. I couldn't even shower at this place. There were stains on the bedding, paint peeling off the walls, just not a very clean place. And... More

When we took a trip to Ireland this was by far the worst place we stayed in. It was quite a far walk from town and was pretty run down. The beds were pretty uncomfortable and sunken in. Our shower broke, but luckily my brother let me use his in his room and we were not offered any compensation for... More

Stayed at the Redclyffe whilst attending an open day at UCC. Great location with good parking facilities, which there are few off within this area. Close to city centre, with bus stop directy outside the B&B, though its only 10 to 15 min walk to city centre. Stayed in a double room, which was quite spacious with plenty of drawers... More

I have stayed this B&B twice in the last 6 months. On both occasions I was attending student open Days at UCC. The location was perfect for me because it is right across the road from the campus and a very short distance from Cork City. On my first visit I found both owners to be very friendly, welcoming and... More

The lady at the reception desk was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a room at the very top which had that fresh clean smell and bathroom was very clean too. Our bed was comfortable and we had an extra single bed in our room ( even though we didn't request it ). The location is great! UCC college... More

I have stayed here many times for both work and pleasure. Mick and his team are always great and extremely helpful, I have no problem going back to stay here again! Its location is great if you are visiting UCC as its just across the road, and if you want to go shopping the main area is only a 10... More
