Myself and my mom booked a twin room at Redclyffe as I am a student in UCC and had to go down to repeat an exam. Originally I was going alone but then my mother decided to join me so having already rang to book a single room we rang a second time to change it to a twin room... More

This place was revolting. We arrived at the Guest house. Then the lady took us out the back door, out a gate and led us to the street facing Fitzgeralds Park, we then walked several metres to where we arrived at the Redclyffe Lodge. This was a small bungalow. My room was filthy. The carpets are full of dust and... More

We stayed one night on our way through - it was fine - the owner had a good sense of humour and breakfast was fine. On the downside its in need of a face lift (the place and the furniture is showing its age). Its about a kilometre to the city if your looking for inner city and far enough... More

The room was generally nice, but the bathroom was claustrophobic. It has a quaint Victorian ambiance, and a good breakfast was included. It is convenient to University College, and is situated right next to a hostel if you crave cold soft drinks. I would stay there again.

It's an old building and needs work. It's also situated a little further from the city centre than I would like, but it's still within walking distance. You get a warm breakfast, a comfy bed and a working wifi here but that's it.

I am all for budget conscious accommodations when traveling, but I still expect a semblance of a hotel. This establishment had very little of it. The rooms are very small and badly outdated with cheap furniture and bedding. The room had zero amenities beside a coffee maker and a small TV with limited channel selections. There is very little upcare... More

Mic is one of the kindest, most accommodating people I've met in months of travel. He's funny, gives great recommendations and makes a very solid breakfast, try the full Irish. Convenient location. Clean rooms. Tasty breakfast. Wonderful host.

This place needs a lot of work to maintain the price charged . It is very old fashioned/ outdated and most uncomfortable to stay. On arrival I was 20 mins knocking on front door to gain entry to the guest house. One thing I will say is that owners are very friendly but they need to spend on their guest... More

Stayed for 1 night. Nice welcome. Easy walk from the b&b to the city centre but quite and away from the hustle and bustle for your sleep. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, set us up for the day.

The location was crucial for me as I strongly depended on public transport. Redclyffe b&b is within walking distance from the bus station and major tourist attractions; in most cases you can get to the majority of must-sees on foot. I was a bit surprised that the heat is switched off during some of the day hours and partly at... More
