Stayed here one night during the Halloween Weekend. The location is good, close to bus stops to the City Centre. Although, the B&B was quite hard to find, we called them up and they were very vague with their directions. Now, I'm not going to completely bash them, the human element to the B&B is good, they were both very... More

We saw a broken window in front of building as we got to front door. Fiona was very nice. Sheets were white, towels were ok, bathroom was ok, my sister was bitten by a spider on her leg during the night in her bed, she went to the bathroom to wash it and saw another big spider and this scared... This B&B is located on a main road into Cork so it is very convenient if you wish to visit the city. The owner was friendly and very helpful and my room comfortable. There are quite a few floors to the house so lugging my suitcase up all the stairs was a bit of a trial - if you have... More

I booked a room at this B&B trough booking.com A room was given as available and I filled my credit card details. Few hours ago I received a message on my telephone answering machine that they were sorry but that no room was available because of overbooking. I already find this wild overbooking very bed because it forced me to... More

Loved staying here! The owners are so friendly and helpful, location is perfect for the city centre and the rooms were spotless! Breakfast was delicious, proper cure! Taxi to the closest pub to the marquee was 12€, taxi back to the b&b from town was only 5€, will definitely be back if we're back in Cork again.

This guesthouse was a bit disappointing. The location could be better. However, there is a bus stop directly beside it if you wish to go into the city centre. It is right beside University college though, if you wish to visit it. The guesthouse had no elevator, so I did have to lug my luggage up a couple flights, so... More

If you want to experience the kindness of Irish people, try the Redcliffe. Despite the fact that the hotel was nearly full, the hostess took the time to talk to us and to give us some advice. We were in a room at the front side, facing the gardens of the beautiful University college of Cork, on Western Road. This... More

Stayed 2 nights, changed rooms for second night. Room 2 was smallish and not good storage space (shelving). But we were moved because the shower room extractor fan and mirror light didn't work. Found neither worked in Room 8 either, but by the time we got back that evening, all was working - so very impressed with how quickly that... More

We stayed in this B/B and we could not believe such a place still existed. It is shabby and in dire need of upgrading. The owner is slovenly and careless in his presentation. The carpet in stairs and landings is fine but the two bedrooms we stayed were all stained and shabby. The only reason we did not leave straight away... More
