i booked this place at the last minute and was delighted that i got a last minute great deal The property is just across UCC and from there you can pretty much walk to many places. The host's were very welcoming and friendly, the room was average looking but very clean. All the things were in the place as should be.... More

This was our first trip to Cork, booked as a weekend away before all the Christmas madness...having never been before, I didn't know the area at all - and being adventurous, we decided to "find our way" by glancing at a map, and working it out from there...often, you stumble across little local treasures that way! The guest house was... More

Room was few block further out that pointed on the map. Room was specious but lights in toilets didn't work. They were dirty, used towels all over the place. It was close to one of the main roads and University. Don' t expect the staff (AGIAIN, main building is few blocks away!) Tu be helpful of friendly.

We booked the double budget room as we were only down for one night to check out a band for our wedding. We got no welcome when we arrived. The room was horrific even for a budget room! The stains in carpet, holes and cracks on walls, light in bathroom not working, two small hand towels to dry ourselves after... More

Recent visit to Cork with family-the Redclyffe offered a comfortable setting near the city center and the University of Cork, but mostly a warm and inviting atmosphere welcoming to any tourists needs. Breakfast was superb, with specialized service.

In Cork for football match. Room had. low ceilings in places which I found out painfully. No toiletries supplied in my room. Breakfast good , price good. Direct line to local taxi firm in foyer . Staff were pleasant. In a good location on the western road , plenty of attractions in the city and environs. Would stay again with... More

Myself and my mom booked a twin room at Redclyffe as I am a student in UCC and had to go down to repeat an exam. Originally I was going alone but then my mother decided to join me so having already rang to book a single room we rang a second time to change it to a twin room... More

This place was revolting. We arrived at the Guest house. Then the lady took us out the back door, out a gate and led us to the street facing Fitzgeralds Park, we then walked several metres to where we arrived at the Redclyffe Lodge. This was a small bungalow. My room was filthy. The carpets are full of dust and... More

We stayed one night on our way through - it was fine - the owner had a good sense of humour and breakfast was fine. On the downside its in need of a face lift (the place and the furniture is showing its age). Its about a kilometre to the city if your looking for inner city and far enough... More

The room was generally nice, but the bathroom was claustrophobic. It has a quaint Victorian ambiance, and a good breakfast was included. It is convenient to University College, and is situated right next to a hostel if you crave cold soft drinks. I would stay there again.
