Well located accomodation. In 5 minutes, we are in the city centre. However, it is a little bit too expensive. I spent one night in a private room and we paid the same price as in a 3 star hotel. No door in the men showers. Anyway, to stay ine night it is a good deal.

Stayed here for 5 nights and had a great time in Cork. The hostel was quite noisy/busy but that is to be expected as it was Easter weekend. Staff were helpful and friendly and the room/beds was clean. Bathrooms were a bit messy at times but they were cleaned on a daily basis which was great. I didn't use the... More

This is by far the worst hostel I have stayed in. The rooms were extremely overcrowded and dirty. The communal bathroom and showering area was filthy and not enough units for the number of using it. The building was noisy until well into the am and the staff were extremely rude to us. I would recommend not staying here because... More

What me and the kids loved about Kinlay was the big Kitchen and common area, We loved the common facilities and also the closeness to the city centre. The reception team were very friendly and overall we would have say very nice and we shall be back..!

We brought a group of 15 University students from the USA and received a warm welcome, enthusiastic and friendly help from the staff and all around, it was a great experience. One room was a little crowded, but next time, I'll make a different set up request. Clean, friendly and safe. Great location, too. We'll be back.

Booked a private room at Kinlay on a recent trip to Cork and it was excellent. It was based around the corner in a wonderful house which was very comfy. The room was excellent more like a hotel and the staff very helpful. We took a hopper tour of cork which was a great recommendation from reception. It is also... More

I'm no stranger to hostels. I've stayed in many. This was by far, one of the greatest. Not a bad walk to city center (about 10 minutes). It might be too far for some people, but my boyfriend and I didn't mind. Breakfast was great. Toast and coffee to get my day started is plenty. Staff was super friendly as... More

My room was lovely and i got the chance to get to know all different sorts of people in the House's tv room! I will most certainly be returning when i... More

Stayed here in a private room with a friend. This room was in a separate house in a quiet part of Cork. The private room have. Clean bathroom and tea kettle. It was clean dry and quiet. Very nice. The breakfast was meager even for a hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Kinlay House - we were well attended to, even before our stay via email. The service was fantastic and gave lovely recommendations for restaurants & pubs :) The Double Private room was nice and clean (GREAT shower hah). We didn't wake up on time for the free breakfast but it's nice to know... More
