Stayed here last weekend. Found staff to be really friendly and helpful. Got the bus direct from the airport - Skylink - cool. Free breakfast - just tea and toast but what more do ya want. Big TV Lounge and Kitchen more

This possibly had to the the dirtiest unfriendly place I had ever stayed. The people on receiption were the most rude people I have met in my life no one ever said hello to you. I was staying in a private room and the bathroom was filthy and paint was falling off the walls. I would not advice anyone to... more

I stayed here for a night as part of a Paddywagon tour. The hostel itself is a few minutes walk away from the centre of Cork, but is in reach of all the major amenities. The rooms are fine, and ours had a lot of electrical plugs which was a real bonus. The bathrooms were also nice, and there was... more

Thre was a reasonably warm duvet and a pillow, and the broadband worked. That's about all the positive things I have to say. the problems were: 1. It's NOT a "city centre" hostel, it's quite a ways (and up a big hill) away, nearly inaccessible by car 2. The "light" breakfast is very light, just toast and tea, really doesn't... more

I stayed there with my girlfriend in as we were going to Cork Winterfest. We opted for a private room. The private room we were in was in a house around the corner from the hostel. It had a kitchen and dining room which was well equipped. The room was ensuite (The shower was great) and had a television. There... more

A very good hostel in the centre of Cork. The Staff were very friendly I thought. There is a nice view from the top floor Rooms. A small breakfast is included - just coffee & toast - but good value. Just bring your own fruit! Would return as it is close to every thing and I liked having the choice... more

I stayed in a private room in this hostel because I wanted to save money. It was pretty shabby. We asked for a triple and got a room with 6 single beds. The beds are about 6 feet long so don't expect a lot of comfort if you're tall. There was no sheet, just a duvet with a removable cover... more

Great location - a five minute walk from town - and what you'd expect for the reasonable price. There was some mold on the walls, it's definitely in need of a lick of paint, but if you're just looking for somewhere to rest your head for the night, it's fine. The beds were very comfy, too. The main problem I... more

I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone. I felt like I was staying in a hospital. The shower and toilet was really gross. They say they have parking, but it was such a pain. The hostel is a little way out and not worth the price for what it is. more
