I recently stayed at Hayfield for my birthday and had a really lovely stay. The hotel staff are really helpful and friendly. There are loads of little private seating areas around the foyer of the hotel where many people were enjoying afternoon tea. The rooms were very spacious and clean - spa was lovely, had nice weather to go out... More

Stayed here for one night in March for our wedding anniversary. My parents had recommended as they had stayed a few times before. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our room was upgraded which was a nice surprise. Lovely indoor pool and the outdoor tub area was great. The best breakfast we have ever had in any hotel!.... More

My wife and I made our first trip to Ireland and chose to stay here 2 nights because of the reviews here. I wanted to add my review, The hotel, the service, the rooms, the restaurants, the breakfast were all top notch. The only comment I can add is that we had drive or taxi to go out in the evening,... It is rare that we find a hotel as good as Hayfield Manor these days. It is the staff that make it such an enjoyable hotel experience. They are very well trained so that things work smoothly and they top it off by being friendly and helpful when you need it. We will recommend it to all our friends and... More

Stayed two nights as part of a pilgrimage trip to Dublin and Cork. Room was great and service/hospitality was impeccable .Have not stayed at a property with more friendly and welcoming staff. Food in the dining room and at the buffet breakfast was top notch.

Had a lovely mini break recently in Hayfield Manor. The hotel is smashing. Gorgeous spacious room. The staff everywhere were welcoming, smiling and helpful. As part of the deal, dinner in Orchids was included. Front of house matched the high standards elsewhere in the hotel. The menu price was €69 for a set 4 course menu. A 2012 five course... More

The hotel was absolutely fabulous! It makes me want to go back to Ireland just for another stay. We had a huge room (especially big for Europe standards). The bed was so comfortable. The room had a great view over the front entrance onto an old 100+ year tree. I was a bit worried there would be a lot of... More

My husband treated me to two nights in Hayfield after giving birth to our son 10 weeks ago, being a 5 star hotel I didn't know what to expect and hoped that we would 'fit in'. From the minute we arrived I was put at ease when we were greeted by a lovely Cork man called Frank, he immediately made... More

It's a beautiful hotel in a great location within walking distance of the city. The food is really excellent, both for dinner (Orchid restaurant) and breakfast. The staff are very friendly and changing room was no problem at all. I sadly didn't have time to use the spa so have not rated it. Highly recommended!

Only big issue was the Spa treatment my wife booked was canceled 3 hours before she arrived in cork. She had taken day off work (we work in Dublin) and got call after 13.00 so was not in good form.
