A real big thank you to Ettienne, Ann Marie, Emma, Graeme and all of the staff at Hayfield Manor Hotel for hosting our small intimate wedding (57 guests total) last Friday, June 26th. And for the superb accomodation and dining experiences we enjoyed at the hotel. From the moment we decided to have the wedding reception at the Hayfield Manor,... more

I booked one night's stay here for my Mum and Dad's 60th birthday. We all loved it. The hotel is furnished to a very high standard. The staff too were well-trained and very attentive, without being the least bit starchy or snooty. We are not used to such swanky environments, but we were immediately put at ease and made to... more

We loved this hotel as it was so lovely just a few minutes out of town. We drove around to Blarney Castle and Kinsale (same day) and then back to our hotel. At night they recommended places to eat and various pubs or clubs and make reservations for us and calling cabs (much easier at night). The location was so... more

My self and my sisters wanted to take my Mom away for her 60th Birthday, so we wanted something special. We debated over loads of hotels around the country and choose Hayfield based on the great reviews it got. We were not disappointed, everything was brilliant. It’s great that it lived up to its great reputation. It’s a small Luxury... more

I stayed at Hayfield Manor for a 'girls' weekend as a birthday treat for our Mum. From the minute we arrived the service stood out as superb. The hotel itself is beautiful - an old manor house, wonderfully preserved and presented. Our rooms were spacious and spotless. We ate in Orchids restaurant on our 1st night which was faultless -... more

I was brought as a surprise to the hotel at the start of the month and what a lovely surprise. The hotel grounds are beautiful - a real suprise off college road which is busy with students. Mature trees greeted us and a lovely back garden that was peaceful in the middle of the city. We spent 2 nights, room... more

After finally finding the hotel, I was disappointed in particular with the Restaurant. The seating was grubby and stained. The food cold and mediocre. The Staff had poor levels of english (Eastern European) and the prices represent poor value for money( presumably something the hotel can exploit given its close proximity to the university). more

Dear Sir, I was disappointed to read about your visit, and that you didnt enjoy your stay with us. I was also surprized to learn that the area was run down as the University is just beside us, and it being reconized as one of the top universities in the country. I do take your comments on board and appreciate...

Hayfield Manor is a lovely if old fashioned hotel just behind UCC about 15 minutes walk from Cork City Centre. Hotel: Quite small, old house but very well presented. The staff are extremely helpful. The back garden is small but very pretty. Rooms: The room we had was very comfortable though not huge and there was no mini-bar or tea-making... more
