I couldn't rate this hotel highly enough. I travelled alone to attend a photography course which was taking place in the hotel. From the moment I arrived I was treated royally. We spent 2 nights here with our 4 year old daughter and got a good deal on a large family room. It was such a relaxing and comfortable 3 days with old-fashioned, attentive 5 star service. After finally finding the hotel, I was disappointed in particular with the Restaurant. The seating was grubby and stained. The food cold and mediocre. The Staff had poor levels of english (Eastern European) and the prices represent poor value for money( presumably something the hotel can exploit given its close proximity to the university). more
