After 11 hours of flying to get to Cork we showed up mid morning before check in and were accommodated with an early check in. The room was great, but the decor was dated. It was very clean. The breakfast was very good and worth going to. Being able to pick and choose items from a full Irish breakfast was... More

The hotel was very nice but located high up on a hill which was quite a climb everytime you went out. More

We spent a weekend at this hotel and we had a really lovely time. It was a family occasion and the hotel staff made us all feel really welcome and comfortable. They dealt with all the various requirements of the elderly and /or infirm in our group in a really pleasant way. Wonderful view over the city. A great weekend. More

My parents and little sister stayed here last weekend for my aunts 60th birthday celebrations in the hotel. As my father has suffered a recent back injury, my parents were delighted with the facilities provided as well as the care and service they received. Overall standard was top class, beautiful large room with a balcony overlooking Cork City, really enjoyed... More

4 night stay. We arrived at 11.45 p.m and (eventually - the lift/room numbering system is chaotic) found the room cramped with possibly the smallest bathroom ever known to man: it was also rather tired looking (stains on the carpet and desk chair). The following morning we asked to change rooms and were given a large, bright room with a... More

We stayed just this week.. def not a four star hotel.. decor is very dated with the bistro/cocktail bar all basically in one room..one receptionist Rhona was so lovely and friendly others barely greeted us. Waiting/bar staff were lovely. Room was a good size and a good view of the city.. Food was resonable.. Its a good 15 min walk... More

Large character building in reasonable location. Enormous but basic room. Clean, newly refurbished bathroom but basic toiletries. Decor is looking tired and dated but understand a programme of renovation is underway. Floor plan odd ( two separate lifts). Staff were friendly and helpful. We chose this hotel because of the good rate but certainly don't feel it's worthy of its... More
