When we arrived we were told that we were being moved into a self contained appartment, rather than the double room I had booked from the pictures on the site. It was St Patricks weekend, so obviously the guesthouse overbooked and we were unceremoniously dumped into an overflow building at the other end of the street to the actual guesthouse.... More

The hotel is very nice, with lovely rooms and a very good breakfast. The staff is very very kind and available. The city center is more or less at ten minutes from the hotel but the walk is nice. Recommended!

This guest house has a lot to commend it; it's within easy walking distance of the city centre, it is opposite the University and has a bus route right outside and it's a fairly large property so might be ideal for larger groups. When I checked in, it turns out I was actually staying in the building right beside it... More

In September, 2014, I had the opportunity to stay here. Convenient location. Can walk or bus to the city, the University and other historic sites in Cork. Killarney Guest House has a very 'homey' atmosphere. Daily breakfasts were freshly prepared. The owner added freshly made scones one morning and they were certainly the best I ever had. The rooms vary... More

The Killarney Guest House was exactly what I needed after a long day of touring through Ireland. The facilities were flawless, the service friendly and the breakfast far more that anticipated. The guesthouse is well located in the small town and allows the visitor to explore the town by foot (as I took advantage of). I relaxed and enjoyed my... More

Just back from a lovely weekend here. The welcome is second to none. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the owner fantastic. The homemade brown bread is delicious and they kindly gave me a loaf to take home. The service at breakfast was fast and the quality and choice of food was... More

We stayed in the Killarney Guesthouse recently for two nights. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast was great. The price was also very reasonable. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It is also very conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the city centre.

Everyone is so welcoming, warm, friendly and very helpful. Various choices on the menu for breakfast to suit all palates. Homemade bread, scones too...delicious!! Hotel and rooms were clean with all the necessary needs for my stay. When I am back in Cork again, I would certainly want to stay at Killarney Guest House. Many thanks to you all for... More
