It was dirty and cold and the noise in the area is terrible. I felt very unsafe there at night. more

Terrible experience. The hotel was full of drunkards throughout the night running through corridors & banging on doors. I was there for 2 nights & it left me feeling pretty unsafe. Also the area is ok by day but turns into mayhem by night. Police car sirens, hooligans shouting & more than 1 shop-turned-nightclub bang infront of it. The receptionist... more

I had never been to Cork. I drove down from Belfast and needed to stay overnight. I found the Ashley from google search and it seemed to suit my requirements, central, cheap and basic. The staff seemed to be mostly East European with scant local knowledge and there was also some communication problems. My main complaint was that the room... more

65 euro a night per room. Thats what it cost me for a big double bed. Telly, shower, toilet. She shower was a little underpowered, but it was fine. Toilet was clean as was the rest of the room. Again I go back to the point, its only 65 euro a night(per room, not person), which in this day and... more

I stayed here as part of a stag party, so didn't really have very high expectations and these were met! It is a bit grubby, run down and for some stage reason the shower wasn't attached to anything. The room was small, the bed hard and everything was pretty low quality. The owner was very friendly and helpful. What I... more

Stayed here last Friday night. Pretty unimpressed. Its really something. Car park is a joke. If i actually cared about my car I wouldnt have parked there. Was quoted 60 euro for single room, got charged 65. Then there was a 4 euro credit card charge, didn't know people still did that. Rooms was old and dark with a teenie... more

My bofriend and myself checked into this hotel for 2 nights, and we were not impressed, the bed covers were stained the room was stuffy, and smelly, worse still there were hairs in the shower and bathroom floor. The staff were not very friendly either, i have to say its the worst hotel we ever stayed in. more
