Just spent a night here for my niece's wedding. It's a lovely hotel. The room was great, the food was very nice, the wedding was amazing. The greatest asset this hotel has is it's staff. Everyone of them was courteous, helpful, and very friendly. We will definitely stray here again

I have stayed in many hotels over the years but this is definately one of the best. I was only here for 1 night on business but everything about the place was top notch. I was due to stay in a standard room but the upgraded me to a suite. It was massive with a bedroom, a lounge and a... More

My family and I ate in Bellinis restaurant recently for a post-christening dinner. It was quite nice. The portions were large, the food was good quality and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall it was a good experience and I'd happily return.

Our first visit to Ireland started in Cork. We chose the Maryborough because most reviews talked about their service. They did not dissapoint. Excellent staff, friendly, helpful, outstanding chef. Our son has serious allergies to dairy and egg - the wait staff and chef - amazing! No issues at all.. Instead, they prepared him beautiful, tasty dishes and he still... More

I had the great pleasure of staying in this beautiful hotel for one night in August 2014 when I traveled from Dublin to Cork for work. Having booked the business sole traveler room online for the great rate of E115 B & B I had no idea what to expect and assumed it would be a smallish room! When I... More

We have enjoyed this hotel, located in a quiet place near Cork. Large room with everything necessary to spend nice time. Large Car Park, Lovely swimming pool and SPA. We didn't take the dinner at hotel, only the breakfast which was correct.

Everything was black including the crockery which looked even worse when dirty or chipped. Staff were very nice despite the awful environment. Dining room had dirty glasses, crockery and cutlery which even the waitress picked up on. The fish of the day at breakfast was the same the 3 days we were there. Definitely not 4 star standard. The executive bedroom... More

Although I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Maryborough with a nice welcome at the front desk, clean room and friendly staff I did feel the room was not worth the money. €220 a night for an executive room, which is basically just a nice room with a big tv and balcony. Meal in restaurant was average, desert was wonderful... More

Overall we had a very nice stay. Some of the hotel could do with a little updating (lose wires hanging from pillars in the restaurant). We stayed in a spa suite and the room was very nice. The jacuzzi bath was a brilliant addition. Overall the staff were very nice- my only slightly poor experience was I had requested a... More

Loved it! Modern stylish room, spa (used the thermal rooms if you want treatment definitely book in advance), good buffet and n easy to find locatin on the outskorts of Cork. The only downside was the alarm that went off in the middle of the night and the drunk guests outside our room briefly in the middle of the night... More
