Although I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Maryborough with a nice welcome at the front desk, clean room and friendly staff I did feel the room was not worth the money. €220 a night for an executive room, which is basically just a nice room with a big tv and balcony. Meal in restaurant was average, desert was wonderful... More

Overall we had a very nice stay. Some of the hotel could do with a little updating (lose wires hanging from pillars in the restaurant). We stayed in a spa suite and the room was very nice. The jacuzzi bath was a brilliant addition. Overall the staff were very nice- my only slightly poor experience was I had requested a... More

Loved it! Modern stylish room, spa (used the thermal rooms if you want treatment definitely book in advance), good buffet and n easy to find locatin on the outskorts of Cork. The only downside was the alarm that went off in the middle of the night and the drunk guests outside our room briefly in the middle of the night... More

Just back from a super weekend in the Maryborough. The hotel is lovely, set in beautiful grounds, with thermal suites, a nice pool and a relaxed ambience around the place. The staff are wonderful. Everyone was warm, helpful and friendly. Special mention to Kitty at breakfast and Dean who looked after everyone in the resident's bar. All in all, fab... More

Our family of four stayed four days in this hotel and loved every minute, they made so much of our children and were so welcoming to us that we felt we left friends to go home. In particular waiting staff Viola made it for us and reception staff Ashling. Rooms where perfect , would have loved AC but cest la... More

Stayed here with my husband in a " Superior Room" last weekend . Room was ready when we arrived at 1:30 pm which was great . We decided to have some lunch before going to room to get ready for a friends child's christening . It took 40 mins for a Caesar Salad and 1 slice of brown bread with... More

Our extended family of 14 (ranging from 7 to 88 years of age) stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Through the high trees down a hill, you enter a cocooned world where everyone smiles, and nothing is too much trouble. The spa and thermal suite is terrific, as is the food, and there are lovely walks/runs nearby... More

It was great to go back to the city of my birth which I left 43 years ago. I stayed at the hotel for the week-end to attend a wedding reception on site, the whole experience was wonderful and the accommodation was great value for money. The staff at all levels made everyone feel welcome throughout the stay, there was... More

I recently (07/08/14), stayed in the Maryborough Hotel & Spa after a friend's wedding. To begin with, I know the bride and groom were delighted with the care and attention the staff gave to insure their day went without a hitch. Little extra touches like the manager pulling the happy couple aside before the meal to ensure they had 15... More
