The Hotel was expanded upon the original Georgian building into an almost Zen like atmosphere. If you have been to Tao restaurant in mid-town Manhattan, then that would be the closest I could describe it. The breakfast has a range never seen before in scale or quality for a hotel. Have stayed here a few times when in Cork. Recently stayed there for a family wedding and a funeral in the space of a few months. The hote does these events extremely well by the way. Beautifully located in ovely quiet gardens. The rooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds and superior ones even have balconies overlooking the garden.... more
