My partner and I recently stayed at the Marybourgh on a one night package. The deal was for 1 night stay including breakfast , 55 minute massage each and a meal. From the moment we entered the Hotel it was clear that this was a very busy establishment as there were lots of activity around. On checking in I was... More

Very enjoyable mid week break with friends . Room was lovely and nice view of the gardens . Restaurant was very good . Staff were knowledgable and helpful . First nights meal was excellent. Second night was good and minor problem was sorted out very well. Good leisure facilities and close to all local amenities.

The only negative comment I have about this hotel is in regard to the dreary pictures hanging in the lobby where one checks in but I am glad they didn't put me off! The rooms are comfortable, the food is good and the staff are top class, all very friendly , efficient and helpful. I couldn't praise this hotel enough,... More

Beautiful hotel. Luxurious bedrooms and excellent food. Hotel staff best we've encountered in all our travels and we recommend it highly. We'll be back to enjoy more luxury at future bridge congresses. Thanks to all involved.

We recently visited the hotel for an event and we were pleasently surprised by the hotel from the start. We dutily noted this was a very busy and we can only imagine stressful time for the hotel although all staff members remained professional and helpful throughout we felt very welcome. Ohhh dear. A much anticipated weekend away but full of small but substantial disappointments. Arrived Friday evening to an extremely busy hotel ( good five minutes walk to entrance in the rain from where we could find a parking space in the very haphazard parking areas). We were checked in by a member of staff who was possibly under pressure... More

I had a few drinks in the Maryborough House Hotel and it was most enjoyable. The bar is modern and has a nice ambience. I was unsure of what beer to drink and Patrick ( Bar Host) poured little shots of 3 beers( ale) and I settled on a new beer ( brewed in Cork), called Red Rebel. It's a... More
