Did not enjoy staying at this hotel at all and will not be staying again. Despite advertising that the hotel comes with free parking on the website, which I phoned to double check I was never advised that there are only about 15 spaces for the whole hotel and I had to pay a significant amount for on street parking... I always as a rule check places out on tripadvisor before using them but don't normally leave reviews but we just loved this place and felt it warranted a posting. I stayed here with my wife and 3 kids for a city break weekend. The last time we were in Cork was over 10 years ago and we had a... More

The hotel was fine. Very friendly staff. The place is like a maze, getting to the room was a bit of a stretch. Overall, the rooms were unspectacular but relatively clean and it was really cheap, so all in all,you get what you pay for. So if a central location at a low price is what you're after, this is the... Stayed in Maldron last Saturday night. First of all its like a maze to get to your room. The room was not kept well. Very basic. The carpet was stained all over the room. Previous guests had ironed their clothes on the floor so there was plenty of stains from the iron. Would be more cost effective if the hotel... More
