We enjoyed our stay in this hotel in July. We were a bit apprehensive about out visit as some of the reviews were not so good. We could not find anything about this hotel to complain about. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially the lady that did the crafts with the children. The indoor pool was lovely which pleased... More

The location of the hotel is very good. We booked a double room but this is just two single beds pushed together. However there is excellent shower facilities. The restaurant 'stir' is not that good. The starter was advertised as prawns and avocado but the later was not present while the chicken was very dry in the main. Desert we... More

At the end of the day if you're booking this place you don't want the luxury. We booked this place as somewhere to rest our heads while we spent the day in Cork. We stayed 2 nights Good things: The staff were absolutely amazing. So friendly and helpful. Bad things: Some mould in the bathroom, Bath mat was dirty. Fan... More

Recently stayed in the Maldron on a girls night out in Cork. After getting a great rate for a triple that included breakfast we also had free parking in a private gated car park that is less than 10 metres from the hotel. Our room was on the 5th floor and very spacious with a double and single bed. The... More

Having put a four hour journey behind me I looked forward to a really good nights sleep. Unfortunately that was not to be. I checked in and the receptionest was excellent; however when I attempted a shower at 11.30pm, the water was cold. There was no Air con in the room so the Window was the only source of cool... More

We spent a week at this hotel in August. It was so central - just across the bridge from the Opera House and Patrick Street, with some smashing reataurants on the Quay side. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and having Spa was a bonus.

Thank goodness our tour only stayed here one night! The staff was excellent; friendly, helpful and courteous. Too bad they have to work in a run down hotel. The knob to the shower didn't work. I finally was able to get warm, not hot water for the shower. I had a corner room, their version of a suite which was... More

Found location very central, few minutes walk from shops/restaurants/pub. Room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful, even after we had a accident, were very helpful. Would recommend hotel if looking for somewhere central for few days.
