The hotel had a small but accessible car park (I was offered off street parking for free on check in), comfortable couches in the lobby to relax on, tasty toasties and a friendly bunch of staff. The building is old, but well appointed- rooms were warm and clean. Breakfast the next morning was tasty and relaxed, which was nice. I... More

Stayed on business for 1 night. Car park was full so had to park on the street (limited free parking)this was OK for me as I had to leave early the next morning but this could cause issues for other visitors. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Good location from the centre, max 10 min walk. Staff were very... More

This is the old Infirmary hospital which was recently done up. I loved the décor .It is tucked away in the old part of the city but a few minutes walk to the centre of everything. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Excellent buffet breakfast with nice touches such as smoothies in little old fashioned milk bottles with straws. I... More

Ordered 4 steak burgers, they were burnt and tough. Also ordered battered fish and chips and got baked fish and mash. No apology given just this is what I have, take it! Asked for chips, they came out cold. We were tied for time as we were working close by so sending food back wasn't an option as it took... More

We chose this hotel because we were a family of five adults and this hotel could accommodate us in two rooms for our required date. The hotel is pretty basic, though clean and fresh, but the beds were hard and certainly I didn't get a good sleep. The duvet cover was summer weight, didn't extend over the whole width of... More
