We are just back after a three night stay in the hotel. The overall package was great value and we would recommend it. The premises were clean and comfortable and the staff were delightful. We enjoyed both an evening meal and afternoon tea in the hotel. The breakfast was superb.

Every now and then you strike a real gem while travelling. We booked this hotel from Australia without any knowledge about Cork and struck gold. This place is fantastic. Dripping with history,a hotel where Michael Collins dined the night before he was shot, and where Charles Dickens has visited. The staff were absolutely amazing and could not do enough for... More

This hotel was right off of a main strip yet it was quite and nice and comfortable. It was near the downtown Cork area so it is very convenient and parking was good as well. Cork city is a definite place to go to if you are in Ireland.

Stayed at The Imperial Hotel in July. The location is a stroll away from everything you want in a city break, shops, restaurants, art galleries, bars, the opera house and other entertainment.Yet with all that around you the hotel is peaceful and calm with glorious classic architecture. We went on a great offer The Imperial experience, bed and breakfast, with... More

Second time staying here in the last few months, the room I had this time was really nice and comfy, v v warm though, the room faced onto a courtyard, view didn't bother me but was v hard to keep the window open with the noise of fan and the smells from them. While I appreciate installing air con in... More

I stayed here on a business trip, four nights, very pleasant. The bedroom was spacious, tidy and comfortable. A nice bar and restaurant to boot. I'd highly recommend it, along with a visit to Cork and the Soho restaurant.

The Imperial Hotel is right in the centre of Cork city and is a great choice for exporing the city and enjoying the nightlife. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and pleasantly quiet for a hotel looking out onto a busy street like the South Mall. A large selection of restaurants, bars and nightclubs are... More

We were very happy with our short stay. V.helpful and pleasant staff. Set dinner menu a bit dull. We didn't think we would bother with the afternoon tea but it was a lovely surprise before we left cork. The old world grandeur of the building is delightful and the room had all necessary modern facilities, including a fan and a... More

Deciding to stay in this hotel during a recent short break was undoubtably a great decision. The accommodation and food could not be bettered but the real stars were the staff, from reception to the bar staff to the concierge they were simply amazing. The location in the heart of the shopping and entertainment district makes it a must stay... More

My son and I recently stayed at this hotel. The food, service, etc., was excellent. It is very efficiently run and staff were really helpful. It was excellent value for money but do ask for a quiet room as it is in the centre of Cork City.
