Great hotel in Cork City close to bars ,restaurants, theatre very helpful staff, especially geraldine and the porter Christy would highly recommend staying there, you really don't need to go out to dine as the restaurant is good and very cosy bar

"Brilliant Hotel, The Interior theme is Art Deco and it was like stepping back into the 1920s. The rooms were what you would expect, spacious and very clean. Breakfast is waiter service and food was very good. Evenings were spent in the Hotel bar; an amazing bar set over 3 levels in an open plan style. The staff are courteous... More

My wife and I just completed our 3rd visit of 2014 to the Imperial Hotel. We always choose it as we know it will not disappoint. It's central location, excellent dining room and superb menu make it the perfect venue. Our 2 day visit on August 26th and 27th saw us accommodated on the excellent 3rd floor. Our package included... We specifically requested a "quiet non-adjoining room" and on arrival were placed opposite the lift. In the morning at 7am we were awoken by a terrible racket next door and when I investigated further it turned out it was the housekeeping room for all floors of the hotel. My complaint was addressed but from a quite surly Duty Manager. The... More

Spent three relaxing days at Imperial . Staff were v friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good bacon was delicious. Ordered omelette one morning no bother for kitchen. Only downer bedroom was at front of Hotel and was very noisy. Next time will ensure we get a quiet one. Convenient to city centre. Recommend

Have just returned from a three day stay at the Imperial with my two sisters and my daughter. We had the best time and loved the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the receptionists or concierge - the rooms were comfortable and the beds bliss. We had the special three night package and thought the meals were excellent. Lunch... My mum availed of a 1-night package recently and had a lovely break! On arrival, she was presented with a bottle of wine. We joined her for afternoon tea. The only quibble with the restaurant in which that was served is that the tables were too close to each other. The evening was completed by a sumptious dinner in the... More

Stayed here on a recent holiday with my husband and would definitely NOT stay again. Firstly, the website says just pull up outside to drop your bags off and get a parking ticket with directions to the garage. It all sounds easy but where do you pull in?! It was a busy road and a nightmare - we had to... More

Booked two two night packages back to back. The hotel has a long history and has a nice old world charm mixed with modern amenities. However during our four days stay the first three were the best. Breakfast is decent quality and with enough variation to suit most people. Dinner was equally successful. The room was spacious with a comfy... More
