Authentic website and accommodation portrayed is exactly what you get. Spotlessly clean & comfortable bedroom. Not ultra modern but homely decor and very well maintained. Clean shower/toilet area. Limited parking available. Great breakfast & well presented in a small tastefully decorated dining room. Definitely the best of the guesthouse/B&Bs on Western Road as standards variable in this part of city.

8 January 2013: The guesthouse is well located, a 15min walk into the city center. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast served was excellent with a good range to choose from. Free WiFi is available and works well. Limited parking is available at the front of the guesthouse. Rooms are a little on... More

Beautiful interior and friendly staff. Room was a bit small, but really well furnished and comfy. Only complaint is that we had to ring the reception from within the hotel on our phones to get someone to come and check us out of the hotel after multiple rings of the reception bell and even a trip outside to ring the... Nice guest house 10 minutes walk from city centre. It is, as they advertise traditional decor, which is not for everyone. Every area is very clean and tidy, the room very comfortable. Breakfast was nice, but service a little slow, ordered sauce which arrived as we finished our food. Staff very friendly, tariff is quite expensive.

We stayed at the Blarney Stone Guest House for two nights and it cost €258 for two nights. This is about £100 a night and quite a lot. For the price I was expecting something quite special therefore. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. My rating of 3 out of 5 is that it was... More

The room was just fab..so cosy and the decor was gorgeous. We had a very comfortable stay and we bought agreed we'd be... More

This Victorian house is well decorated with amazing antiques and art. The entire place is extremely clean and well-maintained. We purposely did not want to stay right in the city centre because we enjoy getting some exercise as well as peace and quiet. The house is next to the university and about a 10 to 15 minute walk into the... More

What a nice place. We were on the 2nd level, and the room was convenient, clean and comfortable. Angela and Sharon were really friendly and helpful about what to see and do. The breakfast Angela cooked was incredible, particularly her pancakes. The house is a 15 minute walk to town, and the bus stops right in front for west or... More

Did my home work to pick this accomodation. Had been told not to leave Ireland without staying in Cork what a disappointment. Did not find the friendliness we were looking for and the "superior double" we had ,you were in danger of breaking your neck going to the bathroom, such a deep step. The bedding was so heavy it needed... More
