On arriving at this gem in Cork I was made very welcome and was very impressed with the accommodation offered , and the good location for the town . After sleeping comfortably , the breakfast made for a great start to the day. I was subsequently joined by my wife , who arrived the following day , and who was... More

A beautiful house located far enough away from the hustle of the city, yet close enough to walk anywhere, the house offered nice accommodations with a tasty breakfast. Angela offered us very helpful advice and was absolutely gracious and lovely! Thanks again Angela for a wonderful stay! (two girls from Canada)

Stayed here for 4 nights and I couldn't be happier with how I was treated. The room was great, roomier enough for me, with tea at your full disposal. The breakfast selection was wonderful. Angela couldn't be any nicer or more available. Super close to the city center. A mere 10 minute walk. If you want a peaceful and lovely... More

We had a deluxe room at the front of the property for which we paid extra for...not really sure what 'deluxe' meant as there were no extras etc. Not sure how it differed from a standard room. Thought it was quite pricey for what it was to be honest. Although the room was beautifully decorated, it was rather cramped. Also... More

The rooms are small but beautifully decorated. There are eleven or twelve rooms, we had no. 3 and 4. Breakfast varied and very good. Would go here again- best if you dont bring a big suitcase inside as there is not much space. But that is the way it is in these small houses converted to b&b.

We stayed in The Blarney Stone for 2 nights this week. It was recommended to us by my partner's doctor as he was having a procedure in the Bons Secours close by. What a gem of a B&B! We were given Room 4 which was comfortable, spotless and quiet. The en-suite bathroom was lovely with the best shower ever. Angela... More

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a visit for a concert at Live at the Marquee. We were given a warm welcome and showed to our really lovely room. It wasn't huge but didn't need to be. We were about 10/15mins walk into Cork city centre. The house is next to the road but doesn't... More

I booked this B&B almost two months ago, but we must have been given the worst room, judging by the other favourable reviews. Both the bedroom and the ensuite were tiny and the window looked out on the wall next door. The wall between our room and next door was paper thin, I could hear that occupant coughing and snoring.... We arrived at the Blarney Stone without advanced booking. Couldn't have chosen a better place for our one night in Cork. it is close enough to the main attractions and immaculately well kept. Not only is the property itself cozy and clean - the service was great. Breakfast was probably the best I had on our whole trip. I would... More
