John and Lorraine have an historic home that is cozy and warm. The location is very convenient, and I was able to park right out front. There is a bus station just steps away that can get you anywhere in Cork, or it's an easy walk to City Centre if you wish. Our hosts were helpful with directions and such,... More

First of all, the location was good. We traveled in the off-season, so the parking wasn't as difficult as some have reviewed it to be. It is a busy street, but it also leads right out of the city and straight to several main highways which made it easy to get out of the city when we left. It's a... More

Staff was super nice and took care of everything we needed, including directions and booking taxis for us Some negative points: - lots of stairs are hard to go over with suitcases without an elevator - water didn't always flush (?!) - sticky shower floor

Hi Trip Advisors / All I recently stayed at Kent House B&B and met the lovely Lorraine & John. They have a lovely town house with some quirky features - slightly sloping walls that is all explained in their very comprehensive welcome book. We had a great room at the back of the house which was quiet considering the locale.... More

A lovely old town house with history . It was extremely friendly and very clean. Although next door to the station we did not hear the trains at all. We were made to feel very welcome and all the facilities met our needs. Breakfast was delicious and Lorraine tailored it to our requirements. A short walk into the city centre,... More

We had a room on the top floor. It had one double and one single bed. the room was quite large, bathroom was down three steps. Owners very helpful and personable. The breakfst was fresh cooked and very good. It is right by the train station and about 10 minutes walk to centre of town.
