We, three of us, stayed with John and Lorraine for two days . We had a great room for three ,a double and single bed, backed onto the railway station so kind of neat seeing the trains come and go . No noise at all from the trains . Even if two of you , this room # 6 was... More

With my family, we stayed here 2 nights at the beginning and ending of our trip. What we found was an excellent B&B, with large rooms (we had two different family bedrooms during our stay, on the first and second floor, both large and clean), with a delicious breakfast, with a good location (15 minutes on foot to the centre)... This is an excellent B&B due to the very personal care of guests by Lorraine and John Dineen. The home is a historic building fitted out for modern travelers. The room set up had everything on our list: Tea and coffee setup, two chairs and a desk/table,in_room safe, plenty of bright lighting throughout, shelves and space for toiletries in the... More

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to submit a wonderful review for our B&B. We have spent a long time trying to get a Victorian Townhouse to blend into the 21st century and it looks like it's eventually paying off. We really appreciate your kind comments and we are delighted your stay was as good. We wish you all... More

I booked this B&B 9 months ago but when I arrived I was told that they had lost my booking, and because they were full, had arranged a room at another B&B. The owner was very apologetic but the replacement place was rated much lower in tripadvisor. This B&B is right on the N8, and if is anything like the... More

I am more disappointed with TripAdvisor than the reviewer in this case. The reviewer did NOT stay with me, he stayed with my neighbour, an arrangement that was made 10 days beforehand. There is no review of my B&B here. There are two statements of fact followed by a completely inaccurate and damaging assumption. I asked TripAdvisor to remove this... More

Just back from two nights in Cork. The Kent House sits on a non-descript street just past the train station. Walking into town was not very scenic, but it did feel safe. We had a family room which turned out to be two connected rooms sharing one bathroom. It was a great set-up for us as it allowed our 22-year... More

I didn't think I would be very impressed when my husband and I arrived to Kent House B&B. The area it sits in is simple, but safe! But my was I wrong! The host and hostess were incredible. Not that you need a large room while traveling, but the room was great and incredibly clean. It's an older house, but... More

We stayed at the Kent House on a recent one week tour of Ireland. For a family of four, we had a very spacious room which was a welcome surprise. Our teenage boys had their own adjoining room. My wife and I booked the Kent B&B several weeks ago after viewing several hotels and B&B's in Cork on Trip Advisor. we came to the conclusion that the Kent would be ideal for our needs as we were only in Cork for two nights.
