I booked this B&B 9 months ago but when I arrived I was told that they had lost my booking, and because they were full, had arranged a room at another B&B. The owner was very apologetic but the replacement place was rated much lower in tripadvisor. This B&B is right on the N8, and if is anything like the... More

Just back from two nights in Cork. The Kent House sits on a non-descript street just past the train station. Walking into town was not very scenic, but it did feel safe. We had a family room which turned out to be two connected rooms sharing one bathroom. It was a great set-up for us as it allowed our 22-year... More

I didn't think I would be very impressed when my husband and I arrived to Kent House B&B. The area it sits in is simple, but safe! But my was I wrong! The host and hostess were incredible. Not that you need a large room while traveling, but the room was great and incredibly clean. It's an older house, but... More

We stayed at the Kent House on a recent one week tour of Ireland. For a family of four, we had a very spacious room which was a welcome surprise. Our teenage boys had their own adjoining room. We loved the location, a healthy walk to downtown Cork restaurants for dinner. We stumbled on a pub with live music and... More

My wife and I booked the Kent B&B several weeks ago after viewing several hotels and B&B's in Cork on Trip Advisor. we came to the conclusion that the Kent would be ideal for our needs as we were only in Cork for two nights. Although the area around the Kent is not very flattering to Cork it was in... More

2 night stay with my 2 young adult kids. We had a triple room with a large bathroom. There was a nice vanity in the room with an outlet strip of 6 so we could all charge phones at once. Great breakfast selection prepared promptly and perfectly and my vegan daughter was very pleased with soy bacon and sausages. Lorraine... More

We had a wonderful stay in Cork with John and Lorraine. They were both very friendly and helpful in assisting us with directions and information about cork and the surrounding area. They were excellent hosts. The accommodation was also very good. The rooms were comfortable and were more than adequate for the two of us and our three daughters. We... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Kent House. Although the B&B is every so slightly out of the city centre, Cork isn't that big, so everything was still within easy walking distance. And it was great having the train and bus stations nearby for trips outside the city. The room was very spacious, modern and comfortable - including the bathroom.... More

Great accomodation. The owners are so helpful, they will assist you in everything you may need, from general info to every little need. My room was just excellent, wide and bright but above all comfortable. I will definetely recommend this b&b to all my friends and relatives!
