Very friendly and unexpected welcome to guest house. Offered tea/coffee and shown to my room. Good location walking distance to city, bars and restaurants. parking spaces limited so maybe call ahead. Lots of art makes it unique if you like that sort of thing. Very friendly and would certainly recommend.

The location is good as it is close to the city area. However, - the service is impersonal, - our room and bathroom were not cleaned well, - the wifi was intermittent, There would be better B&B in Cork for the price.

Good location - few minutes far from the center and the main touristic places. Had a little trouble finding it, as there are no numbers on the street, thus it may be good to know that there is very near the traffic lights on the Mardyke Walk. While the entrance is impressive, the room was not the same. Ordinary, with... More

First of all - excellent parking outside the house. Very friendly reception by a very friendly young woman. The house inside has a confusing amount of stairs in many directions. The rooms vere nice and clean, and the breakfast offered was nice and freshly made on order. The only negative is the distance to city center.

Travel plans changed suddenly at the last minute and I booked this hotel for one night just the day before, mostly because of its proximity to the city center. From the bus station is a 20-25 minutes walk and it’s probably a 10-15 minutes to the center. It is easy to find (also thanks to its bright color) and there... More

This property is well-kept and we slept well. The big drawback for us was parking which was terrible. If you do not have a rental car and are staying in cork this would be fine. I personally did not like the decor which was modern and impressionist. Surely some people love it. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were... More

Just what you expect from a small guesthouse, lovely welcome, very helpful. We were offered a choice of rooms, went for room number 1, really good size with new bathroom with a large shower. We got up for breakfast late but lovely presentation, agree with previous reviewer sausage not great but 2 thick pieces of bacon. Definitely recommend.

The Lodge is very close to UCC. It is a very friendly and welcoming place and the owners are obviously in the process of completely renewing the house. Breakfast is not included, despite what some booking sites say but there is a very good breakfast to be had for only 7.50 Euro. Staff are really trying to be as helpful... More

Good location with public transport on the doorstep. The staff were lovely and welcoming with tea/coffee on arrival. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Helpful to have hairdryer supplied and a kettle in the room. Breakfast was great also, would recommend and stay again...

I loved this guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, it was relaxed and friendly. Our room was fabulous, it felt very continental, with beautiful floors and large ensuite. The design of the guesthouse is continental and arty. My sleep was super comfortable and quiet. However, the only downside was the breakfast. The sausages were of poor quality, and the mushrooms...
