Stayed for just 1 night in this B&B. As we were flying back home early the next day from cork, we wanted a centrally located B&B so we could walk into town for a meal and a drink. We got some very nice recommendations from the owner for a Pub to visit which we enjoyed. Also as we needed to... More

Located on a busy street but I had a room at the back which was really quiet (and I'm a light sleeper). Parking at the back, locked at night. Comfy bed and pillows (down type duvet). Shower was decent. Breakfasts were delightful served in their cafe next door called 'Serendipity'. Handy location, I walked into town each night. The hosts... More

Anam Cara was an adorable little B & B located just a short distance from the city centre area. The parking was free and the Serendipity Cafe breakfast in the AM was very good. You were given a choice of various food items for breakfast and the staff very accommodating. The owner also gave us suggestions and a map as... More

What a great little place. Aideen and Tim greeted us like family and have done everything to make our stay wonderful. Quirky house with dipping floors and tiny bathrooms! We will be back soon as we can. The attached cafe Serendipity is phenomenal. The food is to die for!

Very good value for money. Rooms are functional and spotless. Good service. Lovely cafe serving very nice breakfast. Very handy location for anyone going out or with businesses in the city. Quiet room. Had a good sleep. Owners and staff are very nice and welcoming. Stayed for three nights of Cork Jazz weekend. Was very handy, no need for taxi.

We arrived in Cork on a rainy day after a long eventful trip and were very plesantly surpized to receive a warm and comforting welcome from the hosts. Aideen and Tim made us feel at home and took good care of us. We had a nice, clean and quiet room with a perfect ensuite bathroom. Having a restaurant at the... More

We stayed just one night at this very well positioned B and B. Our main aim was to see as much of Cork as we could in 24 hours and so this central location worked well for us. There is a real buzz about the city, day and night, which we loved. Bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast in the... More

Overall, this is a nice place to stay for the price. The day to day cleaning of the room was good (towels, sheets, bathroom, hoovering) but the rooms could benefit from a deep-cleaning once in a while. For instance, the mini kettle which was provided was dirty on the handle and the lid and clearly hadn't been cleaned for a... More

Very nice place, a little bit noisy if you have a room street view. Very clean room, but the carpet is stained, very bad looking!!! PLease remove this carpet!!! Otherwise everything was fantastic. Good location, 10 minutes walk from Downtown Cork. Good choice of breakfast and brunch, and very delicious.
