Visited Blarney village before and stayed in the hotel last year...This time just went to Blarney Castle and stopped here for a small lunch and a coffee. Place looks good and spacious, however hard to know where to go to order coffee and where to pick up food. Staff were not very friendly...Different cashiers for everything...Then went to get some... I have to give this hotel a very good rating for the staff alone. I was staying there as I have family in the area and we were attending a party. There were a number of friends and family staying and we all thought a lot of the staff and of the breakfast, which was well worth getting up for.... More

A great location. You can walk to the Blarney castle and the world's largest Irish gift shop is on the premises. We did not take advantage of it but, there was also a nice gym on the premises. We were told on checkin that breakfast was included and then when we checked out, we found that it was not. No... More

In an old mill adjacent to Blarney Woolen Mills, short walk to Blarney Castle and the village of Blarney. restaurant was great for tea, snacks and meals, self serve. Rooms are fine, just a bit worn. No a/c. Front parking area, which we faced, is noisy til late in the evening.Because no a/c…need to keep windows open for fresh air.... More

Perfect location for a trip to Blarney, walking distance to all the sights and shops, restaurants etc. good buffet breakfast too, fairly priced. We preferred the food at Blarney Golf Club in the Clubhouse although you'd need a car to get around there

I recently stayed here for a few days to visit family etc and found the service to be excellent and very welcoming. The hotel is a good base for exploring this area of cork. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices on offer for reasonable prices. The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. The Christy's bar is a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on a short family break (2 adults, 2 tweenagers). The hotel is attached to the Blarney Wollen Mills complex so expect to see lots of American tourists in tweed caps and tour buses galore. Our room was an OK size with a view over the courtyard (plus a few weeds in the garden underneath).... More

We stayed in the Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel for 5 days starting on the 28th of July. After a long journey by coach and ferry from Wales we didn't arrive until about 10.45 pm and were pleasantly surprised to have fresh sandwiches, doughnuts and punch served us on arrival. A lovely warm welcome and our rooms were allocated with ease.... More
