Excellent location (a short distance from Cork City) in the beautiful small town of Blarney – home of the legendary Blarney Castle and Stone. Indeed the hotel and the adjoining Blarney Woollen Mills store are also steeped in history - albeit, more recent. The store is the world’s largest Irish shop – stocking wares from all 4 provinces (and possibly,... More

Myself and a pal stayed one Sat night in March. We booked it through a voucher deal and got a brilliant price which included breakfast. On arrival, there is a very large car park which doubles up for the Woollen Mills Store. The entrance is currently being refurbished so there wasnt a clear sign to it as such I had... More

Enjoyed a 2 night break B&B break in March 2015. got a deal - excellent value. Room nice and clean, good on suite . It was looking out to the back, on some sort of run down old industrial yard - awful view. I recommend requesting a room with a view to the front. No reception area due to ongoing... More

Decided to give this hotel a try rather than the usual well known haunts in Cork. Checked in late so didn't eat here, renovations taking place which probably didn't help, Rooms were nice, clean and with a good bathroom. Christy's bar was great, very cosy, good staff. Breakfast was nice and again staff were quite friendly. The hotel was let... More

Myself and some friends went to stay here recently and had a lovely time. They ran a good promotion at the time of booking so it wasn't expensive. From arriving on check in the staff couldn't be nicer. There was some refurbishment going on at the time we arrived but none that was of any inconvenience to us. Rooms we're... More

Stayed here before and enjoyed our latest visit. Rooms are dated but are being redecorated soon. Staff especially Rose on front desk amazing. Breakfast fabulous and dinner in Christies was brilliant and such good value for money. Will return love the setting and the shopping.

Room was not very clean, however size was ok, and tub was nice. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, but no complimentary water and no mini bar. Standard pretty basic but considering the price overall this was ok. Would not go during season as the prices then go up. Close proximity to the beautiful Blarney castle, but if you... More

I found the hotel to be average - it was clean and warm, which was good, high ceilings, big windows, comfortable bed. When I checked in the lady at reception informed me there was a wedding on (you could hear the speeches very clearly from reception!) and she moved my room to a room further from the festivities, which I... We had a lovely 2 night stay as a family pre-Christmas family event, The rooms were spacious and comfortable and extra camp beds were provided. I particularly liked that we could regulate the room temperature ourselves. Staff were very child-friendly, the Christmas event was magical. Breakfast in the Mills was excellent. Christy's bar excellent menu for adults and children. Plenty... More
