I had a very comfortable stay the house was clean and the beds were cosy. Helen was a welcoming host, even to my pet dog, we both enjoyed ourselves in the gardens surrounding the house. We will definitely stay again next year.

My wife and I stayed two nights at Allcorn in December. The house sits right on the Shournagh river and is about a five minute drive from Blarney village. Helen and her husband were very nice and pleasant people and we loved their dog! The room was a good size but it was a little cold and we did find... More

The Allcorn's is a very affordable and upscale B&B. Our rooms very gorgeously appointed, and we a perfect nights rest. The hostess was also very accommodating, offering us a lift into Blarney to watch the Heineken Cup final :) Our breakfast was well appointed, and while the entire B&B may not be perfect for toddlers (too many nooks, crannys and... Actually, it's the best B&B anywhere! My husband and I have been to Ireland 12 times, but this year we took five other family members. Blarney was our last stop after a week of touring, and Allcorn's Country Home was the perfect way to end the week. Helen accommodated the seven of us in unusual luxury. The large, light rooms... Allcorn's was our favorite stop in Ireland! Helen and John are wonderful hosts, becoming good friends before we left. Betsy the black lab and Blanco the white cat were made it even more special. Helen's breakfast are delicious, especially with her helpfulness, keep wit, and charming Irish accent. She made our dinner reservations and recommended day trips. The rooms are... More
