We booked at Newpark House on the recommendation of family. It was the perfect introduction to a gracious Irish country home and just a 5 min walk from a great pub/restaurant as well. The charm of the home and grounds, the lovely breakfast presentation, and the welcome of two sweet dogs allowed us to quickly adjust for jet-lag and continue... More

We booked here to catch an early flight out of Shannon. It is a lovely property, and feels like your miles away from town. The old house is a little creaky and musty smelling on the main floors, but our room was fine. We actually had the best sleep here on our entire trip-bed was super comfy! 25 min to... More

Drove up to house and it looked just like the pictures. Large sitting area with antique decor and fireplace burning peat. Library with tons of books on Ireland and geneology. Unfortunely we don 't have Irish ancestors. Room lovely with half canopy over bed. Two large window seats. I made some tea and sat in window seat with sun streaming... More

Just finished a two-night stay here while visiting friends in Ennis. Feels like you're a million miles from town, yet two minute walk to Roslevan center (restaurant, grocery store) and still an easy walk to downtown Ennis. Lovely old house with amazing grounds. If high water pressure and downtown traffic noise is your preference, this may not be for you.... More

We enjoyed our 1-night stay in this lovely house. We had some issues with a flight cancellation that caused us to arrive about 11:30pm, but the owner, Declan was very understanding and was so nice to wait up for us. The next morning, the breakfast was superb. I highly recommend this B&B.

We found Newpark House courtesy of our B and B Guide Book. As we drove up the driveway the house appeared more of a Castle. We were delighted at ,,our choice. Declan, our host, was a delight and nothing was too much trouble. Our mission was to look up our ancestors and with Declan's assistance I found my family home... More

Decklan, the host and lord of the manor, is a character who well fits the old family estate which he presides over. Set way off the road this 18th century mansion could be uses as a period movie set with its well worn bones and funrnishings, books and artifacts collected over the century. Chickens in the back yard and dogs... More

We stayed at Newpark House from 5-12 July, 2013. What a fantastic place to spend the last week of our 3 week journey through Scotland and Ireland. Centrally located to all the places we wanted to see our last week (Ennis, Cliffs of Moher, the Aron Islands, the Dingle Pennisula, Bunratty Castle, the Willy Clancy festival in Milltown Malbay, searching... What a great way to end our magical trip to Ireland! It's outside of Ennis, about a 30-minute walk. We loved the old-worldness of the place, the wonderful pets--a terrier with a funny face, a noble Irish setter, and a friendly calico cat. Also cows and chickens! Declan, the host, and his mother were welcoming without being TOO present, if... More
