We stayed at Newpark House September 16, 2009 and we could not have picked a better place to stay our first night in Ireland. Declan, our host, was so warm, friendly and very helpful when we arrived after our long over night flight. Even though check in was not until 3p.m. he showed us to our room and insisted we... more

We were two couples traveling together, and the guys picked this B & B for us. We called in the morning to ask about availability and were lucky to find there were openings. We arrived in the early afternoon and were totally amazed when we pulled in the driveway. (We did have a little trouble finding this B & B)... more

We stayed here because my parents had stayed here 30 years before and she had been pregnant with me. We even got a picture of me in the same bed (though that wasn't our room). It is a beautiful location, peaceful and wonderful breakfast. more

We spent our first night in ireland at Newpark House. It looked just like a small castle from the outside and inside was the most amazing antiques and decor. You felt as if you'd stepped back in time. Our bed was the most fluffy, soft and comfortable bed I'd ever seen. Declan was a very good and gracious host. He... more

This was our first trip to Ireland. Arrived at Shannon at 6:00am. Picked up the rental car and drove to Ennis, We were greeted warmly and were able to settle into a very comfortable room early that morning. Drove to Connolly to vist family and back to Newpark. Walked to nearby shopping. Short driving distance into Ennis town center. Best... more

We were greeted warmly by Declan after a long day of sightseeing . We arrived in Shannon at 7 am and spent the day driving and sightseeing. Our booking agent messed up our confirmation, but Declan had a beautiful ensuite room for us. The home is filled with antiques and has been family owned and operated forever. Our room was... more

My son and I stayed at Newpark House for two nights. When we pulled into the drive, I new immediately that I had picked a winner. The location was great, the facility was fantastic, the rooms comfortable and homey, the breakfast was as good as any other (even better) than the other B & B's that we stayed at. But... more

The Inn Keepers were very sincere and always trying to please. Rooms were large and clean. Breakfast presentation was traditional and plentiful. The B&B was the real thing--a true experience that will transport you back in time when Ireland was Ireland. Glenn & Francine, New Jersey, United States--- more

At the end of our 2 week stay in Ireland, we needed a final night and wanted to be closer to the Shannon airport for our morning departure. Ennis is just 15-20 minutes north and the Newpark House is a marvelous way to spend your final night. The hosts, the Barron family, were great with an extensive collection of Irish... more

Had booked several B&Bs to stay at in Ireland and this one was the worst of them all. It is a very beautiful house from the outside but the inside was run down, damp and nothing to write home about. Even the breakfast wasn't very good. We only stayed one night and we used vouchers from GCS. As we were... more

Management response from

I am writing this in response this review which incorrectly states that we added an extra charge. Thes clients booked an ensuite room (with private bathroom). When checking out they handed me standard room vouchers. Their travel agent neglected to inform them that there was a suppliment to be paid with standard room vouchers for an ensuite room. I realized...
