Stayed at the Queens for two nights with 5 friends. Location is incredible with staff very helpful. A couple of gripes: The hotel should really have arranged some sort of deal with county council staff over discounted parking for guests. An extra expense that isn't really advertised by the hotel on booking. The food in the bar/restaurant on Friday night... More

We stayed here just the other night. There was no heating in the room and when we rang to enquire the girl apologised and told us it had been switched off due to maintenance. We were advised how to turn it back on, which it did, but for maybe an hour max! Slept in a freezing cold room with two... More

This hotel is great value. It is located right in the centre of Ennis. It has great historical connections and is located close to attractions such as the alwee caves, the cliffs of Mohar and the father Ted house. The staff were very friendly. Clean spacious rooms, nice atmosphere they even had a fire in the Lobby in the morning... More

We've just had my sister’s hen weekend in Ennis and stayed at The Queens. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough – it’s in a great location in Ennis town. The staff both in reception and in the bar are professional, beyond helpful, patient and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the bath towels are large... More

Just back from hen weekend in queens hotel, Ennis.Could not fault it. Rooms were fine - clean and set up with 3 beds (to keep the cost down). The meal (3courses was really lovely and good quality). Even got a free (well made) cocktail after dinner. Staff were lovely - very professional and a bit of fun. They couldn't do... More

Nothing fancy. This place sports clean rooms and a decent breakfast. The best part of the Queen is her location. She has one of the best pubs in town in the basement-and there are plenty of pubs just down the street. For that reason and that reason alone I highly recommend. However, don't expect the Ritz.

I have been to the queens nightclub in Ennis, The bouncers are very rude unless they know you, it can be too EXPENSIVE to get in here, there events are good but usually there are too many people in there to even move and there can be lots of fights when the wrong crowd are let in. There are always... More
