I really enjoyed my stay at Sleepyhollow. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable double bed. I slept really well ! The breakfast was amazing. I chose scrambled eggs and smoked salmon which was delicious. A full Irish breakfast and healthy options were also available. Sleepyhollow is about a ten minute walk from the centre of Ennis. Elizabeth... More

Driving through Ennis we found Sleepyhollow B&B by chance and found it to be warm, cheerful and cozy. The hostess, Elizabeth was, charming, friendly and hospitable. She helped us work out an itinerary for the following day and suggested the best places to eat and hear traditional music . The bed was the most comfortable of our trip and the... More

Sleephollow was a nice quaint B&B. The room was a descent size, and the bathroom was nice. The shower has an electric heater, so no chance of running out of hot water. The breakfast was very good, and had the best cup of coffee in Ireland. It is located on a nice and quiet street with enough parking. Just a... More

We stayed at Sleepyhollow for four nights in late June 2013. This charming place is nicely at walking distance from beautiful Ennis center. It was also very suitable as a base for exploring the countryside with a rented car. The house and room was nice, breakfast perfect and the landlady very charming. It couldn't have been better.

The host was very welcoming, and we felt like we were staying with friends and not in a B&B. She gave us helpful advice on where to go in town. The location is close to Ennis town center, where you can walk for a nice meal and drink in the evening, and a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher.... More

I found this place by accident; after a long weekend of driving girlfriend, sleep was beginning to get the better of me so we decided to stop in Ennis where we happened upon Sleepy Hollow. Elizabeth was very welcoming and had lots of advice on what to do in the town and where to get dinner. The house is nicely... More

This review is based on a trip to Ireland from June 2nd to 19th when my wife and I stayed in 7 B&B. So there is both a comparative and an absolute dimension in these rankings. Weather was more humid and cold than normal. Stayed there two nights. Instructions to find it were precise. Parking was easy. Good location to... More

I stayed at Sleepyhollow for my week in Ennis and used it for my home base with my various day trips and tours. Elizabeth was so friendly, and loves to talk to her guests. She was also very helpful in figuring out where to go, and how to work out the bus schedules. The B&B is very comfortable and clean.... More

Stayed two nights with Elizabeth, room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Easy walking distance to the centre of town. When we next visit Ireland will be staying there again.
