This was our first trip to Ireland. We had cottage 1 which is a 2 bed cottage with a lovely large living room which faces west so we had the sun in the evenings. It was good as a base for visiting County Clare and the local area. The nearest town is Ennis, about 10 miles away. I know other... More

We have returned from our second visit to Dangan Cottages... We are so impressed we will be returning to the area in September... The cottages themselves are in a quiet location and very clean and tidy on arrival. We booked in on line and did not need to go to East Clare Golf Course to pick up the key, but... More

Five adults shared a two bedroom cottage and absolutely loved the place. Comfortable with well equipped kitchen. The caretakers were very helpful as were the folks over at the clare golf resort where we checked in. A gift of chocolates and wine were left on our kitchen table as we were in Ireland to celebrate our 20th anniversary! Such thoughtfulness... More

Just got home from a wonderful trip in Ireland. The cottages are the best for day trips throughout Ireland. We stayed in cottage 2 which was very nice. Some of the trips were Cliffs of Moher, Burrens, and Dingle. We used the internet at Daybreak in Taumgrane which was great. Dunnes in Ennis is a great place to shop for... More

This is a Diamond Resort property. It is off a main road way back beside a field of cattle. It was wonderful waking up to beautiful pastures. It is within easy reach of cities on the West coast of Ireland. Make sure that you have filled your car with gas if you have an early flight from Shannon and you... More

Do not book here if you are looking for hustle & bustle right outside your door. This place is in the country in the rolling hills of County Clare. Great pubs within 10 minutes drive. Small grocery in Tulla. Management does a great job taking care of things, but not great for Americans who have not travelled abroad... do more... More

You definitely need a car here. The cottages are right out in the lovely green fields of East Clare. Very comfortable, good size and well-equipped although no wifi. We had a 2bedroom cottage with 2bathrooms and a large living room with stone fireplace. There are no other facilities onsite but that is part of the charm. A good base for... More

I just stayed a week at Dangan Lodge Cottages with my family. The cottage was decorated very nicely and felt very homey. We chose to go the week after christmas and the weather was very snowy and icy. The roads around the area can be quite treacherous when the ice forms. That said we took several day trips and even... In Summer 2007, my two siblings and I took our mom to Ireland for her eightieth birthday. We stayed at Dangan Lodge Cottages (in County Clare) for one week, after spending time in Dublin. We booked through RCI, and were absolutely thrilled by the charm of Dangan Lodge Cottages. We were very comfortable during our stay and the manager/staff were... More

My sister, best friend and I took a trip to Ireland over St. Patrick's Day 2008. We booked accomodation through RCI with Dangan Lodge Cottages in East County Clare. The cottage was fantastic. It was in the countryside and the scenery was extremely beautiful even though we weren't there in "high season". From the time we booked the owner/manager Gina... More
