Westbrook has large, clean rooms with wifi. A nice choice of breakfasts. The hosts are very helpful in arranging activities as well as giving recommendations for pubs and restaurants in the lovely town of Ennis. I enjoyed the walk to the town, but also the availability of taxis.

I usually stay in the city centre but a rugby match in Limerick had snatched up most of the rooms and we wanted two rooms. This was a little farther out that we'd like to stay, but the owners gave us a lift into town so we only had to pay for a taxi once. Room was nice, clean, good... More

stayed here after returning from my daughters wedding as it was a short walk to her house, I booked rooms for 13 family members, Sheelah opened up the dinning room and conservatory for us to have a family party, we asked if she would be willing to help by taking care of food for the evening, and boy did she... Working in Ennis and booked in to stay for one week at Westbrook House and haven't left since . Its a real home from home. Great location, good sized room with powerful shower. When I need a lift to the pub Domhnall drops me up. I have been so well looked after by the hosts since I arrived. Could not... More

We happened to drive past this house and decided to stay and Sheelah was the most amazing host and did everything she could to make it an enjoyable and accommodating stay. Her and her husband were entertaining and friendly and gave us lots of ideas of what to do and where to go. The house, breakfast and beds were beautiful... More

This was our third trip to Ireland in 4 years. We decided to concentrate on County Clare and found Westbrook House. It was perfect. We stayed 10 nights and fell in love with our hosts Sheelagh and Domhnall Lynch. Breakfasts were delicious and we could eat light or heavy, as we wanted. Loved the white pudding! Both Sheelagh and Domhnall... More

We stayed one night in a family style room (my spouse, 16 year old daughter and 17 year old girl friend) and it was a very nice room at a reasonable price. The location is a good quite one and the room was clean and comfortable. We were only using the location for a single night and left before the... More

We chose this place because we saw the ratings on tripadvisor. The road couldn't be found by our navigation system, but we asked for the way and the locals proved to be very helpful in finding the guesthouse. Upon arrival, we noticed the big car park directly in front of the house. The landlady was very helpful and friendly, she... More

Came across this property by chance but how lucky can you be. Just a 1km easy walk to the city centre. Enjoyed the experience so much we stayed another day. A very good example of not judging a book by its cover. Pretty unpretentious looking but the hospitality is wonderful. Property is a little dated and some features are not... More
