This is one of the few places sited to allow a walker to use the Forth & Clyde Canals between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The Tally-Ho Hotel is well sited for a stop-over as it's c. 12 miles west of Edinburgh near to Linlithgow. However to suggest the hotel has yet to embrace modern tourism would be an understatement.
