A prime example of a hotel which clearly puts the interest of conference delegates ahead of the solo business traveller. Not sure it deserves its four star reputation. Its a comfortable hotel which is let down by several factors. They have installed IMac computers in every room which double as TV's. Throughout my stay the picture frequently froze and made... more

The rooms are fine, beds were comfortable, there is a desk, sofa, iron and hairdryer. The bathroom has a shower/bath which was a bit small and there was a bit of mold around the tiles. However the staff were generally nice and there were good facilities. It really is a hotel used for conferences as most tourists will stay in... more

I wish all hotels I stayed in were this good. Staff = 10/10 Service = 10/10 Food = 10/10 Facilities = 10/10 (even the gym was pretty good bearing in mind it is a hotel) Room = 10/10 - modern decor, plenty of room. I really enjoyed staying here. The only negative thing I can muster is the location. Your... more

Stayed at the Beardmore for a conference in June and cannot recommend it enough. Apart from the new conference faciltiies, which are superb, the bedrooms were spacious and of a high standard. The hotel also has a gym and swimming pool but I didn't have an opportunity to sample the exertions in life! Some people may be put off the... more

stayed here for 1 night due to a family "do" . We found the staff pleasant /polite and the rooms tastefully decorated. The area surrounding is quiet also, all in all we left satisfied customers and would return/recommend APART FROM the breakfast at £12.95 A BIT STEEP, but didnt ruin the experience more

I live a short drive from the hotel and use it for friends who come to visit. the hotel boasts a health suite with a relaxing pool sauna gym and free provision of fluffy towel and robes if needed as well as fresh fruit and a lovely relaxing lounge. the staff are really friendly and helpful. there is a lovely... more

I am astounded that no one has made more mention of this! The Beardmore Hotel, for all it's an average chain hotel - is in the SAME BUILDING as the hospital. It shares the entrance - upon arrival it's unclear whether you are checking into a hotel or booking in to the hospital. In fact, our room overlooked a hospital... more

I stayed at this hotel which my family for a night. It is in large grounds and is a very modern hotel. Although Im not a fan of the area, the train station is really close and gets you into Glasgow really quickly. The hotel rooms are roomy and room service is great value. more

Stayed at Beardmore with a group of friends who planned to shop and visit relatives who lived nearby. The location and surroundings of the hotel were fine. There is a train station within a 5 minute walk and cost £2.40 into Glasgow centre. Booking in was great no problems all rooms next to each other. The rooms were large clean... more

Stayed at the Beardmore earlier this year for a Conference. Unless you have a car do not bother staying here. It is so far out of the way with nothing in the surrounding area to see or do. There is a train station about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, and this takes you into central Glasgow in about 20... more
