We visited the Lodge for an evening meal on the final night of our holiday in Edinbane - a real treat for our four boys . My wife and I stayed at the Lodge on our honeymoon. I had booked the four poster bed room. Hazel and Peter made our stay wonderful. We were the only guests for most of our stay. The inn, room, restaurant, and bar are marvelous. Hazel is a fabulous cook and Peter makes a tremendous breakfast - Apparently few people (Americans)... more

I am writing this review while I am still in the hotel using there wireless which they have provided me for the past 3 days. The hotel is a lovely place very clean and cosy.The lounge is very comfortable with a big open fires and large leather chairs.the hosts hazel peter & carl could not be more helpful the food... more

This was our first visit to Skye and had decided to stay at The Lodge at Edinbane and we were not disapointed. Hazel, Peter and Carl made me, my husband and our dog very welcome. We loved the Lodge, the setting, the food and the hospltality. Didn't see any actual ghosts, but my wife had a very strange thing happen to her glasses in the loo of the 4 poster room - put them down and when she picked them up the frames were bent totally our of shape. We just returned from Scotland, and two days on Skye. Hazel, Peter and Carl are the real deal. The Lodge is warm, homey and charming. And, make sure to take Hazel's advice on where to go and what to see. Next time we'll make it to the Fairy Glen, weather-willng! more
