The Spoons Luxury Bed and Breakfast is located about a 12 minute drive from the town of Portree on the Isle of Skye. It is snuggled into the rolling hills of a pastoral area with water views of a nearby lake. The structure was lovingly built as a Bed and Breakfast location by the owners. Parking is plentiful. The owner... More

We know how to cook eggs but the poached eggs are a wonder here, twirled to magnificent snowy cones by Ian. We looked forward to every breakfast with crepes and crunchy granola and afternoon tea with Marie's neat baking. Fine attention to detail from the tiny different flowers on different plates at breakfast time to the thoughtful and generous replenishment... More

It is genuinely rare to stay somewhere where you cannot think of anything that could make it better! The Spoons however achieves this because it is perfect in every way. Marie and Ian are wonderful hosts - friendly, knowledgeable, obliging, lovely. Need I say more. The property is beautifully situated with great views and well located for touring on the... More

My husband and I were fortunate enough to discover Spoons four years ago and have since repeated our happy visit several times, twice with friends - they too enjoyed the experience as much as we have done. This is an exceptional place with very special, generous hosts who are passionate about caring for guests in their beautiful, immaculate home which... More

The Spoons will be the best ever B&B you will ever stay in, so just book it! The welcome is so personal, Marie's home baked cakes are just divine. Breakfast is incredible Ian's 'tattie scones' are incredible. The bedrooms are amazingly comfortable. Thank you for booking all of our restaurants. I will run out of space to write all of... More

Spoons is a very special B & B. The house has been newly built specifically as a B & B in a very quiet location off a small road well out on the Isle of Skye. The rooms are of the highest standard. The hosts were wonderful, right from the awesome homemade brownies on arrival to the excellent breakfast (... More

Exquisite! The Spoons is a little haven of luxury on the Isle of Skye. If you like gourmet food, creative and stylish interiors and kind hosts, look no where else. Marie and her husband are just wonderful to talk to and to stay with. We will certainly come back!

Had an amazing 2 night stay at The Spoons at the beginning of July. The hosts Marie & Ian provide exceptional service from the moment you walk through the door and make you feel instantly relaxed. We were warmly welcomed with tea and home made scones. The rooms are a touch of class with extremely comfy beds and the breakfasts... More

We only stayed 1 night at The Spoons as they were fully booked. I wished that I had booked earlier as this B & B surpasses any that I have stayed at previously. Ian and Marie are wonderful hosts who own a beautiful property furnished with quirky artefacts and beautiful paintings. The food is tremendous.......home made scones with clotted cream... More

My wife and I spent three nights at The Spoons in June, and it was easily one of the best places we've ever had the pleasure of staying. Since we'd never been to the Isle of Skye before, I was a bit worried before our trip that maybe we should of booked a place in the town of Portree so... More
