Rooms small but nicely furnished. Food generally good spoilt by meagre portions and average puddings. Evening meal not worth £46 per person for food. Over formal, strained conviviality in public areas. Very regimented. Saved by fabulous setting and friendly staff. Will not return to or recommend this hotel.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights and we were really taken with the place. The food was out of this world and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much for them. Loved every minute of our stay.
