Edna and Angus were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They were very helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Huge breakfast to boot, Edna would probably make you whatever you wanted; we opted for the full Scottish breakfast which was more than plenty. Coupled with the comfy bed and additional toiletries plus... More

You'd have to go a long way to beat this one. Edna is a really beautiful person, our room was immaculate and offered far more than the sometimes shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is in addition to the above mentioned, facial soap, a couple of disposable razors, a couple of toothbrushes (wrapped) and even a tube of toothpaste, shower... More

Loch Beag B&B is a real gem, just like its lovely hostess, Edna. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome, cared for, and offered anything and everything we could possibly want or need. The room was very comfortable, perfectly clean, and breakfast was delicious. We were also grateful for Edna's supplies of extra toiletries, which we needed... More

I recently stayed here with 3 friends during a cycling trip. We received a fantastic and friendly welcome from Edna who is very knowledgeable about Stornoway, the local area and Hebridean traditions. The rooms were immaculate with finishing touches that made all the difference. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Edna is a fantastic hostess and very friendly. For a... More

This is a fantastic bed and breakfast. We had dinner, bed and breakfast for three nights and have to say that Edna's cooking is superb. The rooms are spotless and homely - perfect for a good nights sleep to set you up for next days breakfast! Edna was the perfect host - and we had some real laughs together. She... More

I recently stopped at Edna and Angus's B&B whilst on my journey cycling the Outer Hebrides. The hospitality and welcome I received was wonderful. After a hard day cycling and a gorgeous shower, I was treated like royalty by been taken to the local restaurant and then picked up by Edna & Angus. Unbelievable first class service and so very... After three nights camping in high winds on North Uist, it was a joy to come to lovely, civilised, homely Loch Beag b and b in the little town of Fivepenny, right at the tip of the Isle of Lewis. I honestly can't fault Edna's warm, friendly welcome, neat comfy rooms, and superb breakfast. First stop for me was a... More

Can't really say any more than others have already said on here. We stayed with Edna and Angus for 2 nights at the end of May and had a lovely friendly welcome and a really relaxing stay. Everything about Loch Beag and the lovely owners were just perfect. Thank you Edna.
