The Heb Hostel is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. Very clean, beautiful bathrooms, lovely dorm rooms and common room. Throughout the hostel there are many touches that make it a very comfortable place to stay. I particularly liked the Harris Tweed furnishings. I stayed at the Heb Hostel at the end of June, and the location is fabulous - bang in the middle of Stornoway and a 2min-walk from the ferry terminal/bus stop. A little gem. A row house in the centre of Stornoway. The owners have taken great pride in restoring this place; superb bathrooms, comfortable bedding; well furnished living rooms and kitchens. More than one can expect in a hostel! more
