I booked this B&B as part of our 'Hebrides Tour'. We have visited Lewis before but this time we were keen to stay somewhere a little different and when I found Suainaval on Visit Scotland it looked perfect. We first visited Tony and Kirsty in 2001; our enquiry by email prompted an enthusiastic reply, accompanied by a photo taken there-and-then by Tony. The best things in travel should never just land on your doorstep, and the journey to this particular Shangri-La is all part of the experience. Remote, wild, and distant?
