By far, Crowberry isn't only the best place I've stayed in the Outer Heberdies, it's the best place I've stayed in all of the UK. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the rooms were well-furnished, stylish and clean, the complimentaries were generous to the point of luxurious, and the hosts - Lisa and Ali (and Coco) - were kind, quiet, interesting... more

The whole family, 2 and 6 year-old included, was made to feel very welcome. Fabulous rooms, very lovely boutique-feel, and magnificent breakfasts every morning. A real find if you're traveling (with or without kids) on that side of the island and want to stay somewhere friendly, but still enjoy a touch of luxury. more

Crowberry House is a fantastic place to stay. A modern house on the edge of Back with very stylishly decorated rooms and great attention to detail. It had more of a boutique hotel feel to it than a B+B. We were really impressed when we walked through the front door. The location is very convenient for people arriving or departing... more

Crowberry is extremely well appointed and spotlessly clean. Lisa and Alasdair are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had an excellent meal there during our stay (not available every night and unlicensed - so bring your own booze) and the breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Our room was plush and tastefully decorated, and its proportions were more... more

I can't recommend Crowberry enough. Lisa and Ali were so very nice. The rooms were immaculate and posh (heated floors in the bath!), and the food was so good we were loathe to continue with our trip. One of the absolute best B&B experiences I've ever had. more

I was staying there in July during the Celtic Festival of Lewis. I booked the single room and was very pleased to see a Huge Comfi bed for myself. The decoration is just Superb and bring your in a Special Atmosphere.... Well done Lisa (The Owner) ! They have thought about Everything for your Confort! (The bathroom has the under... more

My friend and I have just returned from a long weekend break to Lewis staying at Crowberry B&B. The property itself is stunning both internally and externally. Our rooms were immaculate, luxurious and extremely comfortable. Dining at Crowberry is a must. The fresh local produce was delicious with the added bonus of all veggies/salad grown on Ali and Lisa's croft,... more

Crowberry is a modern, lovely B & B on the windswept plains of the Isle of Lewis about 10 minutes north of Stornoway. We stayed in the Glamour Room, with a king size bed, lovely sitting area with tea and cookies provided. The bathroom had a heavenly shower and thick towels. The views from the window were amazing. Sunset occurs... more

A lovely little hotel made all the better for the personal touch applied by the owners. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and make a real effort to make your stay enjoyable. I was the only guest there on the night I stayed but the whole breakfast table was... more
