Last week I had the pleasure of staying at Crowberry. Their website is lovely and so I was expecting a decent place, but I was taken by surprise. It is the attention to detail that first delights, so many little things are laid on to make the vistor feel good. The decor is lovely and as the other reviews have... more

We found the Crowberry on the internet, and it seemed to be the perfect combination of the luxury of a boutique hotel, and the friendliness of a bed & breakfast - and we were right. Of course, the Isle of Lewis isn't huge, but we found the location idea for getting out to the beaches and sights, but still about... more

thank you Lisa & Ali for your excellent B&B. (doesn't seem right to call it a B&B it's more like a small boutique hotel) First class in every way, immaculately clean. wonderfully comfortable and the best breakfasts we ate in our tour of Scotland. i have only posted this short review because you throughly deserve it, personally I'd rather not... more

We stayed at Crowberry with 2 young children and had a fantastic time. Ali and Lisa did everything to make our children feel at home - from home baked cookies and juice in the bedroom to letting them play endlessly with their new puppy and dog CoCo. Our evening meal was delicious and nothing was too much trouble from dinner... more

After few stressful months at work Crowberry and Lewis was just what we needed for a get away from it all, relaxing holiday. Crowberry will not disappoint - easy to get to from the ferry terminal in stornoway, and a wonderful place to relax. lisa and ali are superb hosts and made us feel so welcome. Our room was amazing... more

This purpose built modern guesthouse is an oasis of chic modernity on an island which remains largely unchanged. Just a short hop from Stornoway adjacent to beautiful beaches and abundant wildlife, it is probably unique in Hebridean hospitality. Lisa and Ali were the most welcoming of hosts, chilling our own wine for us and encouraging us to sit outside on... more

Our Super King bedroom was large an appointed as well as many 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was plentiful, with loads of choice, and the main course was freshly cooked. It is about three miles outside Stornaway but has the advantage of beautiful beaches within a few hundred yards and a quiet road outside. Access for touring... more

We stayed at Crowberry last week on our last night in the Western Isles before flying home the next morning. Really wished we could have stayed longer. Lisa and Alasdair are an exceptionally nice couple who have created a perfect guest house. The house is very new and a lot of thought has been given to the comfort of guests.... more

My husband and I had a great time on the Isle of Lewis and staying at Crowberry made it even better. Alasdair and Lisa were great hosts' and made us feel right at home. Our room was very cosy, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect and not very far away from the ferry terminal and the standing stones. We... more
