We stayed here for 3 nights while on holiday. Or room was comfortable, the food was fantastic and the bar is out of this world. Great breakfast and great curry night! Free wifi in our room. David was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It was chilly when we were there but there was always a... More

This Inn is family run and owned. An old building which has been updated. There is a restaurant and comfortable lounge area and also a well stocked bar specialising in what Islay is famous for - malt whisky. The food is excellent. Local produce when available. Home made bread with your meal. David is the chef as well as the... More

Warm, friendly, and tasty. David and his son went out there way to give us a great stay. Hope we get to go back, as it was so relaxing and value for money when compared to the rest of the island. The breakfast was a full Scottish with option for cereal and fresh fruit. Their bar had a great selection... More

Islay is probably best known for the whisky distilleries that surround the island, in fact Islay is recognised as an area of Whisky all of its own mainly peaty and smoky and people come from all over the world to see where their favourite tipple is produced. The centre of Islay is the town of Bowmore, (where there is a... More

We visited this inn for dinner on Sunday. We had not booked and when asked if we could eat, the barman went to check. It took about 20mins before he let us know that it would be fine but would be after 8pm (we arrived about 7pm). We enjoyed a drink while waiting. We were given a menu and left... More

A very charming B&B clean and fresh, with the best food on the Island. Try Haggis with the superb sauce. David and his son take very good care of you, and they have a excellent bar with over 300 kinds of whiskey.
