Situated on the shore of Loch Indaal Loch Gorm is an imposing stone building set in 1 1/2 acres of beautiful gardens. Beautifully luxurious interior. The host, Fiona Doyle is a really warm and charming lady. The comfort and facilities really are first class. Breakfasts are freshly cooked as you wait in the elegant dining room cum kitchen. The variety... More

My husband and I stayed here with another couple just for one night recently. I had tried to book other B&Bs on Islay a week before our arrival but it seems as though the island was very busy with tourists that week. By chance I was able to book one of our nights at Loch Gorm. Fiona fitted us in... More

This is a beautiful B&B in a terrific location on the Isle of Islay. Fiona welcomed us with tea, hot fruit scones and jam in the lovely guest lounge which has lots of reading material and is a beautiful room just to sit in and relax. Breakfasts were friendly, sumptious and yummy with lots of options: beautiful home made jams,... More

We absolutely loved our stay at Loch Gorm House. Fiona is a gracious and friendly hostess and her home is gorgeous. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, and had the most stunning bathroom. She cooked a great breakfast, made sure we had dinner reservations lined up, and took particular care to make sure our baby was comfortable and welcomed. We... More

Loch Gorm House was a very welcome sight when we arrived on Islay - Fiona bailed us out when our original B&B overbooked - and we were very grateful indeed for her warm welcome! Loch Gorm House really is first class in every way - from the enviable position it occupies overlooking Loch Indaal and Bowmore on the other side... More

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Fiona for the perfect holiday. We loved the room, our massive bed, the views, the massive bath, the fantastic breakfasts and the roaring fire in the sitting room. Five star across the board. Hope it won't be too long before we can visit again.

Recently my Partner and I went to Scotland, we stayed on Islay, we only went for about 3 days, we just wanted a peaceful few days away where we could walk, watch wildlife, have log fires and of course indulge in a little Whiskey... we hit the mother load!! We booked into a Guest House which was right on the... More
